Over the course of three years, Oticon has consistently been able to provide their representatives in my home area with sufficient information and help to allow them to properly program and adjust my hearing aids to give me adequate hearing to effectively carry out daily activities and conversations. I have not only spent the original purchase price of the aids, but also several hundred additional dollars for adjustments and repairs. Please see the attached file for full details.Initial Complaint

I reached out previously via phone. I spoke to ******* around 3pm on Friday, October 14 and she told me that if I had the serial numbers for my mothers hearing aid, she could look it up. I found the serial numbers and Called and spoke to *** at 8pm on Wednesday, October 19 and he told me that he could not do that, everything has to go through the provider. The audiologist told my mother that even though the warranty was up, that Oticon would do a one time courtesy repair. Now over three months later, the hearing aids have gone missing. I just wanted to get the history of the hearing aids to see if I can figure out what happened to them.Initial Complaint

******* pastures has been stealing tablets and phones and reselling them on the street for money for years he is also the reason the lock was put on the cafeteria because he used steal seasonings and food.Initial Complaint

I purchased top of the line oticon OPNMiniRite hearing aids from my local audiologist at ENT & Alergy on 11/17/2016. The cost was $6200 for left and right hearing aids. I understood on 11/17/2016 that the warranty period was 3 years. When I received my hearing aids, the warranty period was stated as ending on 12/29/2019. What I DID NOT understand was how many times I would have to return a hearing aid to be repaired. There were so many issues with my hearing aids and they were returned so many times, that My audiologist informed me the warranty period would be extended one year until 12/29/2020. The right hearing aid failed on 9/14/2020 and was sent back for a replacement. Fortunately the extended warranty covered the cost of replacement. Currently, 11/1/2021, both hearing aids are failing. Both fade in and out regularly every day, even with fresh batteries. Every day, multiple times per day, I hear the very familiar 4 beat jingle that notifies me the hearing aids have shut off. So far, they have come back on, usually within 15 minutes or so. However, based on past experience, I suspect its just a matter of time before there is complete failure for both hearing aids.As of 11/6/21, the left hearing aid has completely failed. I deserve compensation for faulty hearing aids due to manufacturing defects. I contacted oticon customer Service and received a response that they cannot deal directly with a consumer. I was told I must go through an authorized dealer. I am not willing to pay for another professional office visit nor am I willing to pay for the repairs. The manufacturer must be held accountable for their products. Respectfully submitted
