I spoke to Greg and his financial advisor at the dealership about financing a truck over the phone 5 hours in advance after sitting in dealership for 5 hours previously I gave them my information and before I test drove the vehicle and confirmed anything they ran a hard check instead of a soft check on my credit without my consent causing points to my credit report it would be ok (if ) I purchased the vehicle I was not approved for what I initially wanted and was told sorry I don’t have nothing on the lot in your price your wondering what’s the complaint My issue is the fact that they used a manipulation tactic to lock their buyers into doing business with them knowing that customers are trying to build their credit through finance not ruining it by credit check the financial manager was very rude and sincerely unapologetic towards his failure to be transparent with his sales tactics watch out everyone they’re Crooks in designer clothingBusiness Response

Hi *****,
Following your test drive, we proceeded with the credit check you authorized. However, when a customer has extremely poor credit under 500, it significantly impacts our ability to secure approval. We presented you with several alternative options, but unfortunately, the situation escalated when you became upset and refused to leave the dealership. Additionally, there was a concern regarding a threat made toward our finance representative.
As a result, we asked you to leave. The time spent at the dealership was not due to any delay on our part, but because the available solutions we offered were not accepted, mainly due to your credit situation, lack of employment income verification, and down payment requirements.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,

On 10/25/24 I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Cars ******************************* location. As part of the purchase agreement I paid $350 for the dealer to coordinate the title and registration. At the time of purchase I was issued temporary 30 day plates and advised the title and permanent plates would be available in 2-3 weeks. Around Nov 18, I had still not received word on the title and attempted to contact the dealer. After several weeks of back and forth I finally got in touch with contact who advised that the plates and title were available for pick up at the ********** location. At this point my temporary plates were expired making it impossible legally drive the vehicle. On Dec 6, I drove 30 miles to that location to pick them up. However, upon arrival I was told that the title and plates were not actually available. At that time I spoke with the general manager ***** **** who said he would investigate and gave me a call by end of that day. That evening, he advised that he had located the title an plates and would coordinate getting the overnighted to me.On Wed, Dec 11 he advised the plates and title would be overnighted by ***** that night. The next day I called to confirm, and was told they had actually been sent by regular mail, so were expected to be delivered in a few days After over a week I had still not received so left several messages for Mr. **** on his number, and with the office general number, but have had no response or further ********** has now been over two months since date of purchase, and I still haven't received the title or plates, and am unable to legally drive the vehicle. My attempts to get further updates are not being answered.I require Cars 4 Us to resolve the issue by sending me the title and plates immediately via overnight ***** with tracking number. Also, given the time this has taken and inability for me to legally drive the vehicle, I require refund of the $350 paid to coordinate this title and registration service.Business Response

We bought the car on July 30, 2024, the posted price on the website, marketplace and car selling platform is $ 12,995. When we arrived on site to look and ask questions about the car, the seller of the car really confirmed this price. So the sale was fixed, we made a down payment of $3,000 and when we signed the contract, we saw an increase in the price of the car to $17,790. It was getting dark, so we asked why the price of the car had gone up, and they told us it was because of the tax. When we got home, we looked at the contract again and saw that the price of the car had really gone up apart from the tax listed in the contract. We asked for an explanation, so we went to their offices and got an unsatisfactory answer and they didn’t give any details about the tax which, according to them, should increase the price of the car, but a simulation of a credit application accepted on our behalf, from which we can see that it doesn’t conform to the price found in the contract we were given. The explanation he gave confirmed that the price of the car is not reasonable, but there is a price inflated. We’d also like to point out that we asked for a copy of the contract, but they didn’t give us everything we signed, only part of it. We therefore ask you to help us in the face of the abuse we are suffering because we don’t speak English very well, and we therefore consider this to be one of the reasons why we are victims of this abuse.Initial Complaint

This Carz4UZ dealer has committed an irregular practice of increasing the prices of a 2016 BMW vehicle to US$14,505 dollars when the price was already pre-destined on the CarFax page and on the website of this vehicle dealer Car4Uz at US$11,995.00 dollars. The motivation for purchasing the vehicle was for the final price, which it was the same price US$11,995.00 the final price before the contract, but right off the bat in the contract a total price of the vehicle appears for US$ 14,505.00 dollars, meaning an increase of US$ 2,505.00. I went to the dealer to ask the reason why this happened and no one was able to give me any justification. The only possible justification is they are charging me a hidden increase that does not correspond to the price spoken and negotiated at the time of signing the contract, for this reason I feel that I am a victim of a very disgraceful scam on the part of this used car dealer, and if you investigate I am pretty sure I’m not the only one who has gone through this.Business Response

We sold a vehicle to ******************** on 03/24/22. At the time of sale the customer was given full possession of his paperwork and title. Due to some legal issues the customer has not been able to get the vehicle registered for two years. As a dealership we are trying to help ******************** but we are not liable for any legal issues he is having since the day he purchased the vehicle. ******************** needs an other title and we are able to get that for him. Duplicate title does cost money. As long as the money is paid we are able to help him get a duplicate title. ******************** is refusing to pay the duplicate title fee and processing. If ******************** is willing to pay the fee we have no issues putting in the request for him.

This company sold us a car back in November and since then our temporary plates have expired and we live in NY. When calling about the title the company keep lying saying it’s been delayed due to DMV delays. Spoke with someone else and they said it has a lien on the car and she’s calling the bank to release the documents. Drove back to NJ and now they’re saying they’re trying to track down the original title because there was a mix up in the paperwork. Why couldn’t they be honest in the beginning. We want the title for the car so that we can get our car properly registered and my son able to driveCustomer Answer

On Saturday 12/9/2023 I purchased a 2015 Infiniti Q50 with Junior. At the time I came for another car which was advertised and instead of informing me that not only another person was interested in the car but had put a deposit down. Due to this I went with this one presented as a replacement by ******. At that time he informed me that there was no issues with the car and it was in good condition. This claim was assured again by the gentleman that completed the test drive. I was also given an extended warranty due to the lack of communication regarding the car I originally wanted. The next day Sunday 12/10/2023 the check engine light came on, the following day when coming home from work the car went into limp mode and was undriveable. Only after 72 hours of having this car I was unable to drive it. I contacted ****** immediately and he did not answer nor has he returned my calls since 12/9/2023. I was directed by the receptionist at the dealership to contact the warranty company. Upon doing so I was instructed to tow the car to a gas station and wait for the mechanic to contact me. That took several days and multiple calls for him to contact and inform that the transmission needed to be replaced and he was attempting to resolve with the warranty company. At this point I have been without a car for over a week. After another week and my consistent calling the mechanic answers and states they were not willing to repair the issue. So at this point I did not have a car for 2 weeks after only having it for 3 days. It appears that the codes were turned off and now I am being avoided, ignored and dismissed because the sale was complete. The car was returned to me only to again have issues after 72 hours. I have been trying to get this car repaired or exchanged to no avail. this is horrendous business practice. I need my car fixed so that I can take care of my children and get back and forth to work.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because the warranty company was not the issue as it was explained to me what was within their scope. The dealership failed to have a manager or the owner reach out to assist with my issue, instead the head sales person ******* reached out to inform me that I should not have taken the car to the Infiniti dealership because it is a big "no no" as the dealership is going to create a long list of issues with the car. ******* stated the warranty company would assist with getting the repairs completed however they only paid for what would be covered under the warranty. The dealership did not make any attempt to assist with the repairs that were due to their lack of maintenance on the vehicle while in their possession. In order for me to get the car running after not having it for two weeks, the repairs totaled up to $2,327. 95 after the warranty company paid the $1612.67. The dealership did not offer to assist with the remaining, instead the reply from ******* was demanding that I remove my complaint. There is no inspection sticker on this car either. I was deceived all the way around. It is going to cost me more money to determine if the car was actually inspected as I was informed it was at the time of purchase. If there is going to be some resolution, I would need to be compensated for the repairs I paid for and the remaining repairs paid for in full. I will never do business with this company again.

Hi Mr. *************************,
**** from the warranty company had reached out to you based off of our outreach. We decided that a professional was needed to assist you and guide you with the claims process and guide you on how it works. The vehicle landed at a new car dealership where they are notorious to over bill and charge 3 times the labor rate of a normal shop. The warranty company paid you on the parts and labor based on industry standard that will pay. The reason why there was excess you had to pay is because there was work on the page that was recommended that needed to be done but not mandatory. If there is anything additional than what is required it's always on the customer to make any upgrades they like. The necessary work that needed to be fixed was covered by the warranty company. If there is anything additional that might be needed please reach out to **** and we will be more than happy to help.

Mr. ******* did purchase the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from us. His title has been ready since 9/10/2023. There was a misunderstanding with the phone number in the system. We were calling 904 area code and not 914. This was a mistake that was made by the sales person when they were entering customer information. By the time this response is being posted Mr. ******* would have received a call already to pick up his title.
