    Measurable lapses in service provided: 1. Doctor did not issue prescription at time of service (April 2023). I got 3 exams done - 1. Regular distance vision, 2. Contact lenses. 3. Computer vision. 2. Doctor was pushy to purchase contact lenses from them. I did purchased. The office manager was very upset and irritated when I asked cost of lenses. 3. In May 2023 i called ho to check status of my contacts. I was told that I have no order pending - my vision benefits page showed contact lenses order has been made to my insurance. 4. Upon emailing - I got my lenses. And upon email - I got prescription copy. (Later in Jan 2024 I find out - they didn’t send me my regular vision prescription. Sent only contacts + computer vision ) 5. In December I used my remaining benefits for regular glasses at eyeconic.com. They wanted to validate prescription and they couldn’t reach the doctor. 6. I uploaded the prescription copy and it was rejected by eyeconic saying this was for contacts. Indeed it was - however as a customer and a patient , I have no way of telling what prescription is for contact and what’s is regular. This is a big lapse on part of practice. 7. I went to doctor in 2024 Jan (today) to get my regular vision. First I was told there is no regular prescription - just contacts and computer vision. Then when I said how is it possible - the office manager scribbled something and gave it to me. 8. This regular prescription has variance from my prescriptions in past few years !! I just found out - if the doctor is not giving prescription at time of service, how would I know change in eye power and if I don’t know, I would be bearing headaches all this while. Doctor should be investigated for malpractice. Softer non-measurable concerns: 1. Eye glasses my son broke within a week. - (kids glasses do break). They refused to take any replacement request. after pushing they sent one new for fee of $25 2. office manager (doctor spouse) is always rude, condescensing.
