***** Finkel was referred by the people who installed my hot tub. I contacted him to make arrangements to set the tub up and get instructional training on maintaining it. At this time, I specifically asked about the cost, but he never responded. He told me he'd let me know when he'd be able to come and then just popped up. I told him I was not planning to be here then, so he'd have to contact me before coming. I asked how much, and he said $240 total. On two separate occasions, he showed up at my home unannounced and entered my backyard area and porch without permission. The only way that I knew he was supposedly there one of the times was that he text-messaged after he left. On this occasion, I was not at home for approximately five minutes. So, for me not to see him at all or even pass him was strange. I messaged him and asked him to stop doing that. He got offended when I told him I had just got married and my wife or her kids, or even my children, who already frequent my home, might be there and that they are all female and coming unannounced would not work for me. He said he would reach back out to me for the training. He never did.An invoice came, and it was $360 without explaining the additional charges, even though there had been no training or follow-up. I paid immediately. A week later, I noticed algae growing in the pool and a lot of foam. I reached out to him and mentioned that the manufacturer's pool instructions stated that you were not supposed to use chlorinated shock in the tub because it could damage the jets. He disagreed with the manufacturer that small doses would not harm the tub. I asked him when he'd be back out for the training, and he could look at it. He sent his son. His son drained & cleaned the tub and told me how to maintain it. A new invoice came for $398.78. I asked him why it was so high when much of that should have been done the 1st time, and he said never to contact him again and still wants the invoice paid with no explanation.
