The most uncaring, unprofessional medical practice weve encountered. I brought my wife,***** here in 2021 and 2022,for unspecified anemia. Trying to make the 1st appointment was itself a challenge ,as no one answered the phone,or called back til the next day. *********** is a hematologist, which is a blood specialist. After ordering a cat scan to rule out hemoraging, she ordered iron infusions for ***********Iron infusions that were costly and continued for months ,even though, she NEVER diagnosed the cause of *****'s anemia.Just kept pumping iron into her blood. Each time ***** received an infusion, blood work was done, however the results were not uploaded to her patient portal,so,basically the portal was useless, much like ***********,who didnt bother to pass on the results of the blood work, even when we called to request them. The receptionists refused to answer the phones, and if they did we got put on hold. The billing department was a whole other nightmare, since ***** never received a paper statement, even after multiple requests to the billing department,it is like she paid the same bills twice. Finally after almost a year, without any diagnosis ,and multiple iron infusions,***** stopped seeing ************** march of 2023,Dr ******,a reumatologist ordered bloodwork on *****,and diagnosed her with ********* syndrome, the cause of her anemia.*********** being a BLOOD SPECIALIST could have also ordered the same tests, but didnt. I guess it was more profitable for RCCC to keep billing her for iron infusions, instead of treaating the cause. To add insult to injury,***** applied for disability, due to her failing health, and when Social Security sent the request to RCCC,they called ***** to tell her they wouldnt comply with the request ,because *********** "didnt agree with the decision". Aside from being a POOR CLINICIAN,***************** empathy, and compassion,2 traits that are neccesary to be good doctor. I thank God my wife didnt have cancer, and if you or a loved one does, avoid this place completely.
