Find someone else to procure your vintage Ape. I had been holding out for 2 months on some type of reimbursement/compensation per their founder in ********* before writing this; Really tried to give them one last shot at redemption. VTP ** has zero concept of respect, good craftsmanship, and time. After waiting 8 months for my Ape (once the Purchase Agreement was signed), my Ape arrived from ********** to ******* completely damaged. Dents, dings, scratches throughout. Fresh paint drips, jaggedly cut edges, unfinished utility side, warped logos, scuffed equipment, bent gutters, unpainted drawers, yellow window seal adhesive showing, loose trim - fell off, holes were cut too large and stuffed with incorrect washers as a quick fix, the list for us went on and on. It was very clear that once they received all the parts from overseas they rushed through my build. The PA read that I was to receive a turnkey vehicle. There was nothing turnkey about it. When speaking to their leader in ** *************************, he blamed my entire disappointment on transport damage. **** could not own up to any of the complete lack of craftsmanship and neglect to details. Save your heartache, time, AND money. Go through a business like ***************** out of ************** - they know what theyre doing. VTP ** needs to wrap up shop as they continue to lie, cheat, and deceive their customers. The photos they use on their social *************** are completed builds in EUROPE. This is not the product you will receive here in the states! They are causing small businesses like my own to suffer as they take your money and turnaround a shoddy product. I am continuing to DIY many outstanding components on the Ape as I am done waiting for action from this fraudulent company. I have asked for a partial refund, to only be strung along for months. I continue to find broken components (fridge, CO2 gages) as I get to know my Piaggio Ape. Really shady ****************** No transparency with customers.
