      Only The Best Builder (OTBB) hired to replace our roof. We hired **** based on the merits he displayed in person as well as on his web site. He started his business out of frustration for shotty work/homeowners being taken advantage. **** shared and advertises he is a PERFERRED ***** CORNING Contractor - explained his quote which was higher was due to the quality/certifications **** carries. 10/2/23 - the work was done **** was paid in full, that day as requested. The next day, some glaring cosmetic issues were noted, OTBB was notified. **** met with us, confirmed it was not quality and they agreed to come back to fix the issues. We were told that the work would only be completed by the lead guy w subcontracted crew and **** *******. Worked on the home on 10/6/23 which resulted in damage and the initial issues not fixed (their "BEST" guys). None one whom worked on the home were actually ***** Corning Preferred certified as OTBB advertises. 10/10 **** sent an email stating that ********** is 100% in charge, authority to rectify any issues, the pay of the crew is dependent upon our us being 100% satisfied. Concerned of the quality of work, I spoke to ****************** and request guidance as they certify OTBB as a preferred contractor - they suggested to hire a Platinum Contractor whom completes inspections to inspect and ensure it is ***** Corning Certified. We hired ECC (*********, **). ***/******* from ECC, whom brought with them *********************************** Corning Area Sales Manager for MidAtlantic to also view the inspection. The results - the roof needs to come off/completely redone, due to improper installation. We shared findings with **** and they agreed and stated this is not how they do business it was a new subcontracting crew they had only been using for 6 months. OTBB opening a new location ******************************************************* - yet they do not have the funds to return to us as promised.
