      When I first joined the gym, I had purchased a training session totaling $2,420 on 3/20/2022 and another for $550 on 6/13/2022. I had a manager speak with me about other sessions in July, and I told them that due to other financial issues, I would have to cut back/or stop my sessions. As I was walking out the door, the person had asked how about splitting the charge between a couple of months and I said sure. The gym has group rates depending on how many sessions you would like. Please note that I was thinking that I would get charged for a couple of months, August and September for $400 each, and then it would stop. I didn't sign anything agreeing to additional sessions. I was quite surprised when I saw another charge pop up in October for $400. When I asked about the third charge I was told that I had training sessions through 2023 at $400 a month. I told them that I did not agree or ask for this and asked them to remove them from my account. I was told to send an email to the company, which I did on October 3 and that I probably would hear back in about a week. I hadn't heard back yet so I went to the gym a week later and when I told them I would cancel my credit card they said I would start getting charged for missing payments and in order for me to cancel I would have to pay half of the cost. Was not aware of this either. All of a sudden the person that I had spoken with was no longer around. I couldn't deal with the stress of all this and ended up paying $1,600 to cancel. Of course after the fact, I thought what if they added another member's training sessions to my account by accident. I sent them another email mentioning this on October 8 and I have heard nothing from them saying they're looking into it. I don't know what recourse I have, I would like my $1,600 back but if that isn't an option, I just wanted you to be aware of this type of situation. Thank you, April ***
