      I’m handling my mother’s bills and housing concerns. My mother **** ****** paid over $1500 to Lane Plumbing in June of this year 2023 to see ice her evaporative cooler. It stopped cooling yesterday July 17, 2023. I called to speak to the woman who answers the phone. She told me they cannot come out for over a week because of other calls. She said the owner is in Hobbs and will not speak to anyone as a supervisor. The girl answering the phone says she is the supervisor. So now my mother, who is close to 80 years old and is disabled from a stroke, has to endure the heat of this hot summer.

      As I said during our phone call, that I was very sorry, but we were booked with other customers who's coolers and ac units were not working as well.  I did not have any available appointments until Monday morning, 7/24/23, that I had scheduled with your mother when she called on 7/17/23, one week prior.  That was my absolute soonest available appointment.  The temperature had hit 104 degrees during that time and there was a massive upswing in customer needs and we were taking care of as many as we could as fast as we could.  My technicians have been working 12+ hours per day in that 104 degree heat for the last month to get as many coolers and ac's working as we can.

      However, to address the concerns as to the amount and when.  It was not over $1500 it was exactly $357.65 to repair and turn on her existing cooler on May 26, 2023.  I did still have the technicians call your mother on the morning of 7/24/23 in case she still needed assistance.  She did politely let them know the issue had been taken care of already.

      Again, I am very sorry we were not able to help your mother as fast as you wanted, but we simply were already overbooked and can only get to customers as fast as we have staff available to do so.
