I will fully offer my leadership/communication consulting services to this company for free. Where to begin.I will say that initially when your signing to be a resident here, the communication is flawless. They respond promptly and answer every question. Once you sign, that were all communication ends. Answering an email with a question is literally the easiest thing to do. Send an email to ask a question? No response. What to end your lease early? No response. Want to just in general get any answer? Nope, not going to happen. Call them? Don't answer. Go in the office? They say check your email. I spent 10 weeks in this apartment, sold everything before moving from out of state. We literally had 5 boxes with us of belongings. Emailed them in October to end the lease early and was willing to pay any relevant fees because of it. No response. We ended up vacating and continuing to pay rent and monthly utilities. I emailed every few weeks to get someone to reply to ending my lease early. I finally got a form to fill out toward the end of November. We ended up going out of state for personal/business purposes and ended up getting in a car accident that lead to a hospital stay. For security breach reasons (they're payment system is not secure), I do not use their Autopay or save any of my payment information so this accident left us being late on our December payment. I paid the monthly rent and all fees that were added. Toward the end of the month when we returned to **********, I went to check on the apartment since our 60 days until end of lease was approaching and found court paperwork on the door. It's a ********** Law that it can be posted on the unit door but needs to be mailed as well. Well no mailed attempt. Luckily I went to check on the apartment to ensure it was ready to turnover before handing in the keys and found the paperwork. Go to hand in the keys? No confirmation that they receive them. They just take them and say "Uh, okay." I ended up sending an email to their leasing office stating the date and time of key drop off. Of course, no confirmation email back from them. Their form to vacate states that all fees and early termination fees are due 30 days after move out. I emailed 4 times to ask about fees and how to proceed. They email me on ******* 4th asking if I was paying ******* rent or if I'd like them to "move me out of the system" on 1/1. Uh, no? My form that I filled out said that my move out date was 12/29 so I'll take an invoice of any relevant fees. I asked if they want me to pay for ******* or not or what process they'd like to me follow. Of course, what do you know? No response back. This company is hands-down the worst company ever communication-wise. Borderline negligent. We legit have questions regarding fees but cannot get a response and they just keep tacking on fee after fee for their own negligence. Maybe call me at the number on our Intent to Vacate form and let me know the process? Return an email? Return an email asking me to call you? Anything?Again, I fully offer my consultation services to help this company. There are many older families and individuals who live here and I cannot imagine them having to navigate this broken system. Stay away from this property management. I'm sure some of the staff mean well but collectively, communication *****.
