I initially contacted Propertyrecs.com while independently searching for my home's property lines because I wanted to plant trees. This company popped up and I ordered "a copy" of my property lines. I was to receive them by email the following day after paying a charge of $1 and a charge of $7. I did not know that they would be charging me monthly. I did not initially notice that there was a reoccurring charge. My charge company was not able to decline the payments. The payments stopped in Oct when I cancelled my credit card due to a fraud charge not related to this, I was notified that the charge was declined by the company. I called today and was able to cancel the "account". They would only refund me 3 charges of 10$. I requested $50 of the $58 I was charged. I repeatedly asked the same question and was told that they only go back 6 months! I told they it was fraudulent to charge monthly for a one time request. He said it was in the print. Why would I assume I was being charged monthly for a one time document? He refused to acknowledge my complaint. I said I was contacting the BBB. He continuously repeated the same information citing they only go back 6 months. Isn't 6 months from November until May?Business Response

On 9/1/2024 I ordered a one time property record report. The site advertised one report would be one dollar. I have no need for additional reports. I was surprised to see it shifted to a subscription of $30. They have charged my credit card for Sept and October, total charge $60. Upon seeing my bill I requested cancellation. I have seen multiple complaints with Consumer Reports and feel like their site is like a bait and switch and should be investigatedBusiness Response

I have been charged $10 dollars on my credit card for the last three months by a company called New Mexico data insights LLC, who has two online web sites propertyrec.com and property record.com. Both sites are the same yet I never signed up for this nor have I done business with them. On my credit card statement both websites show up. I never signed nor do I have a subscription with them. I have emailed them to find out what is going on with this but no responseBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I originally contacted this business myself yet received no response so they had every opportunity to fix it then instead of me coming to BBB. Also they sent back only $10, I was fraudulently charged more than this over the months. Also this business uses two website addresses, which lead one to assume something isn’t right with how they are doing business. Communication is the key and this company doesn’t do. It says September 7th the account was closed yet they never addressed why it was open in the first part.

I used their service in May and pd $10.90 on my credit card. The transaction was done online. For the past two months June and July there is a charge of $10 on my credit card from this company. They keep showing that I am purchasing from them. I am not. I need them to refund the $20 and stop charging my credit card. I called my bank and they recommended canceling my credit card and getting a new card....however, this card is list with other companies for payment such as my utilities.Customer Answer
