The previous owners of our home purchased a new roof through Flat Roof Pros. This roof came with a 20-year workmanship and material warranty, that began on 6-14-2021. In November of 2024, we discovered that the roof was leaking and attempted to contact Flat Roof Pros of Albuquerque, but have since discovered the business is not operational in Albuquerque anymore. After searching online we discovered that Flat Roof Pros does exist in Washington state, but have been unable to contact them directly to see if they are able to remedy this warranty issue. We have opened a claim with our homeowners insurance (provided by USAA), and their inspection came to the conclusion that the damaged roof and leak were caused by poor workmanship on the roof repair originally performed by Flat Roof Pros. At this time we are working with separate roofing contractors to repair our roof and internal ceiling from damage caused by the poor workmanship performed by Flat Roof Pros. We are seeking reimbursement by Flat Roof Pros for the repairs required due to their poor workmanship.Initial Complaint

I have been requesting service on our leaking roof that is covered via warranty since February 16, 2023. Our roof was installed by Flat Roof Pros company in 2020 (Garage in June and rest of house in August). We noticed a leak Feb 15, 2023. I contacted the company on following dates: Feb 16 2023 (vm and email) Feb 17 - was told a technician would call us early next week Feb 22- left vm because no one contacted us Feb 23 - left vm and emailed March 1 - left vm, emailed and called corporate office who told us they would contact your office March 1 - Local office called us and told about supply issue but was told that they expected a technician to contact us by end of week March 9- left vm (no one had contacted us) March 10 - called corporate office and they said they'd contact local office March 14 - called and got a hold of local office - were again promised someone would schedule with us. March 20 - left vm (no one had contacted us) On March 1st, we finally told that there is an issue with product supply. However, no one has even looked to see what the issue is or how much product/labor are needed. Also, even after we were told about the supply issue, we were promised that someone would be back in touch with us within a week.Initial Complaint

Flat Roof Pros installed my roof October 2019. Flat Roof Pros will not return my phone calls of the past 18 months. I have some leaks and do not know what to do. I have left numerous messages and have not received a call back. Are they out of business? If I have to now contact another roofer, does that negate the contract/Warranty with Flat Roof Pros. How do I find the main office? I did write a letter to a Flat Roof Pro office in California a year ago requesting some help (thinking that might be the main office) but they also have not responded. The warranty is for 20 years.Initial Complaint

In 2021 Flat Roof Pro came out to our house to install a Silicone coating to my roof with a 20 year warranty. In 2022 my roof was leaking and they came out to repair the roof, however the repair did not last and the roof starting leaking again in the same area. I have tried to contact the company and finally someone answered and was supposed to come by and inspect the roof. They never showed up and will not return phone calls or text messages. My neighbor has their roof repaired by the same company and their roof is leaking after this last storm and they haven't been able to contact anyone for their repairs. I continue to call ************ and have still not been able to talk to anyone. The one person I was able to talk to wanted a copy of the work that was agreed upon. I sent this information to ******************. Of course no response from her. I have damage to my master bedroom ceiling and one other bedroom. My ceiling is redwood and the wood is damaged and possibly need to be replaced. I noticed that other people have had complaints about this company and even tried to contact the company in California. Which I believe is the main company. I would like a refund for the job that was promised along with the warranty. The roof has other areas that are not properly sealed and will eventually start leaking.Initial Complaint

We hired Flat Roof Pros in April of 2021 to replace our roof. They told us a silicone roof would work for our older home without needing any additional work on the underlying roof and the 20 year warranty made us feel safe in our decision. They completed the work and we thought everything was fine until we got snow in November and had to call them our the first time. We've had people out to patch their work three times now and they were supposed to come back a fourth to seal it again, but that never happened. Now, we have a leak in the garage, where there wasn't before. There are streaks of leakage on the ceiling in our living room and additional leakage in our den. The roof is worse than when we started this project. There are open areas of visible tar from the previous roof showing under the silicone that has cracked open. Every time there is wind, more cracks and tears appear in the silicone and their company no longer responds when we reach out. We would like a refund, as we are going to have to replace the entire roof again with a different company.Initial Complaint

In the fall of 2019, I decided to put on a new flat roof as previous roof repairs were not holding up. I had a leak where the drywall pulled off the ceiling. I researched products and companies and decided to put on a silicon roof. I hired Flat Roof Pros to do the job. The company represenative came to evaluate the problem and gave me an estimate dated October 7, 2019. The estimate included coating the parapet walls. But, the representative said they were in good condition. So, I decided to only have the roof done. The total cost was $11,864.09. I signed the contract and paid a $1000.00 deposit on November 7, 2019. The roof was installed in the next month. I paid off the balance by January 14, 2020. Then I signed the warranty agreement on January 14, 2020. I received the signed warrant back from the company on February 3, 2020. Documents are attached. After the completion of the roof, I made the drywall repair, remudded and painted the celing myself. In the winter of 2021, I believe it was in February, we had a snowfall in Albuquerque. Shortly after this, my ceiling started to leak in the same spot. As the snow melted, water was pouring in through the drywall joint, and the drywall started to drop off the ceiling. I called Flat Roof Pros and explained the problem. During a dryspell, a crew arrived to assess the situation and make a repair. They crew did something on the roof and replaced my drywall. I then did the finishing of the repair as described previouslly. This February, 2023, a leak started after a snowstorm. A friend was housesitting for me and called me while I was in Mexico. (Same leak at the same spot.) It is visble. When I returned from Mexico in late Feruary, I called Flat Roof Pros. I got the runaround. I called several times and never got a call back. Then I called the corporate office in CA. I talked to an office person who said she would pass the claim on to the CEO. I sent my docs. through email. I never got a call back. So I need help.Initial Complaint

In November of 2021, we contracted with Flat Roof Pros to remove our gravel roof and install their silicone roof system complete with a 20-year warranty. Now, not even two years later our roof is experiencing major leaks and the roof system has completely failed and needs to be replaced. We have repeatedly tried to contact the local office including phone calls, emails, and letters by certified post. We have never received a response from this company. We are in the middle of selling this house and in order to complete the sale we will now have to contract with a new company and install a whole new roof. We originally wanted them to come out to inspect and repair the leaks and to honor their warranty. But because we have to install a new roof, we are now requesting a refund.Initial Complaint
