************* SCAM ! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS - THIS PLACE DESERVES FIVE NEGATIVE STARS !!!I'm visiting ***********, ** working the Balloon Fiesta ... I went to this business to have some keys cut & a battery replaced in my key Fob which the owner, ****, did himself. I needed keys cut for my ************ looked around & said they're on order & will be here in 2 ********** before to be sure ... I asked how much are ********* said $4.95 so I waited the two weeks & called. I explained to the young ******** put me on hold for 20 minutes then returned & said he had 2 ... but I was told by owner that 3 were on ********* said great cuz that's what I need ! When I went back, I brought one of the keys that was cut previously & didn't work as well as another fob for battery. It took 3 people & another 20min to "find" the keys (which there were in fact 3 like the owner said) ... The bad key was re-cut (still doesn't work), the battery replaced & the 3 new vehicle keys cut which took 2 people & another 25 minutes. When they rang it up it was over $150 !!! I said WHAT ?!?! And the young man said the 3 new vehicle keys were $50 each ... I explained that the owner told me $4.95 & another guy came out the back & was very rude saying I'm not gonna haggle with you - if you don't want them then don't get ********* took the keys & walked away - again I said that's not what the owner told ****** surely wouldn't have waited 2 wks for them to come in & drive all the way over here & have them cut if I didn't want them but this is wrong ! I said pls ring up the battery for me to pay & he said "no, have a nice day" in a very condescending tone ... I asked to see the owner & this man again said "have a nice day" & turned & walked out !!! I suspect the owner wasn't ************ are running this little scam without his knowledge - otherwise if the owner knows then it's worse than a few rouge employees ! Either way - BEWARE !!!

Horrible! They came highly recommended as a locksmith to cut my **** key and program it. After 2 hours of not being able to program the key to recognize the vehicle, the technician **** and ******* said they were 100% sure it was a PCM (computer module) problem based on error codes and I need a mechanic to fix it to get key to work (PCM's are $800 + labor). So I took it to a mechanic, who after charging me to diagnose the issue, said it has nothing to do with a PCM, but might be a key problem, and recommended I take it directly to ****. So I took it to ****, who said ****'s didn't have ****************** to program it. Works fine now because **** had ****************** to program it, but I'm out $300 because I trusted ****'s expertise. When I asked the manager to make it right, she just yelled louder and louder, asserting THEY HAVE! the current software, and then hung up on me. If they had ******************, why could they not get my key to recognize the vehicle? And why am I out $300 to get one **** key cut and programmed at Bill's? DO NOT TRUST ****'s Key and Lock!

******, We did everything in our ability to get the key you provided to program into your ***** By your own admission, we spent two hours with two technicians working on your vehicle. We also cut your high security Tibbie key. We attempted to program with two separate programmers, both of which are up to date on 2013 **** software, and both of which indicated the same PCM issue. After all of this effort, we did not charge you a dime. We are very glad that our suggestion of taking your **** to either a mechanic, or the dealership was fruitful in the end, and that **** was able to program your key. We are, however, not responsible for what you were charged by the mechanic of your choice, or by the dealership. Your idea to 'make it right,' by cutting your second key at no cost, is not acceptable as we didnt charge you anything in the first place. We would be happy to cut your second Tibbie key, however you would incur the standard $55 dollar charge, which is the fair price we charge all of our customers.

Helping the customer: "I don't know why it won't program, you need to take it to **** for programming."Helping the customer: "We don't have the up-to-date programming, you need to take it to **** for programming."NOT helping the customer: "It's 100% a PCM problem, take it to a mechanic to diagnosis the computer issue". **** programmed the key first try. No, I will never go back to ****'s because they don't know when they don't know something.

I was told by any one of the eight people milling around 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour to program my key. After over two hours of truly incompetent back and forth, they proclaimed the problem fixed and charged me $161. They were going to let me drive off with a product they knew didnt work thinking I wouldnt check it because it was only a back up key. I did check and the key DID NOT WORK. Prior to that, I was only annoyed, but their attempt to cheat me angered me. I said I wanted a refund and never wanted to see the inside of the place again and that they had lost my business forever. At that point one of them with many piercings and a top knot called me an a****** and used the f-word repeatedly. We was moving in a threatening manner. At one point, I felt sufficiently threatened to consider calling the police. When I insisted on original copies of the receipt, he only gave my a copy machine version of them and told me repeatedly Get the f**k out of my store! I state for the record that, despite how I was being treated, I did not use profanity nor did I call any of them any names. I have operated as a consumer in *********** for over 40 years and this is the very worst I have ever been treated. I seek a formal apology from the business ownership and I recommend that individual receive a formal reprimand. There is simply no place in a civil society for a business that takes over two hours for a product/service they estimated 15 minutes to an hour, and then attempts to ******* the customer, and then when called on it becomes abusive and threatening. With eight of them and one of me, I feared for my well being throughout the latter part of the interaction. Again, I believe I am entitled to an apology and the knowledge that something more than nothing will be undertaken by the business ownership in this matter. Thank you.
