  On August 2, 2022 my grand-daughter was involved in a automobile accident in Shiprock where by 2006 Ford Extended Cab truck was involved. The front end was damaged. The back end was no damage. I had to truck towed to my mother's house on the north side of Shiprock, NM. I was devasted for two week and spoke to my uncle about the condition of the truck. My uncle, ******* ***** highly recommended Mr. Van S****. Mr. ***** said he was going to talk with Mr. S**** the following week to see what can be done. I did not speak to Mr. S**** until he called me and stated that he was Shiprock and wanted to see the damaged truck and see if the truck was repairable. I met Mr. S**** along with my older sister, ******* *** on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 pm and spoke to Mr. S**** in person and in detain about the repair on my damaged truck. Mr. S**** stated that he can repair the truck and it would cost me $5,000.00. This was a verbal agreement. I stated that I agree on the $5,000.00. Not one penny more or less and that it would take him about a month. Mr. S**** wanted $2,500 upfront before he started on the truck. I asked him for a detailed estimate of his work. I gave Mr. S**** my cell number to keep me informed of his progress. On August 23, 2022 I gave him $2,500.00 cash. He stated that he only works with cash basis. I started getting phone calls from Mr. S**** harassing me. He wanted to take me out to dinner, told me intimate details of his life and women were chasing him to be with him. I told him that I only wanted a professional relationship with him and nothing more. I avoided his calls as he started sexually harrassing me. I told my Uncle ******* ***** about my dealings with Mr. S**** and Mr. ***** talked with him. That is when Mr. S**** changed his attitude with me. The month of September, I visited his shop with my mother and truck was not even worked on. It was still parked in the shop and he stated that wrong parts are being sent to him. The month of October, I visited his shop again and he stated that my repair cost was $13,000.00. He tried getting me to sign the Estimate of Repair on my truck. I argued with him about his pricing and he stated to me then that he is only guaranteeing the repair of the truck but not the engine or if the truck will start. He screamed at me during this visit was asking me where I was during Shiprock Fair as he was looking for me to spend time with me. I was appalled. He frightened me with his anger, once again my Uncle Mr. ***** stepped in and intervened on my behalf. At this point, I called Farmington Police Department to report Mr. S**** but I was informed that since I have not been touched and everything was done verbally, nothing could be done. Mr. S**** shop was closed November, December, January, and February. He stated that he works for another company is hardly at his shop. He stated that he is closing shop in the end of May. I did not agree on $13,000.00 repair. I only agreed on $5,000.00 I do not believe Mr. S**** has a business license to operate this shop.
