07/24/2022 I went in for emergency services. I have two insurances primary and secondary. They billed separately for ER doctor and the facility. They then tried billing me for 1480 without submitting a claim to my secondary insurance for 7 months myself and the secondary insurance called many times every time they ensured me they were going to submit the claim. They never did, and stated not to worry about the the debt because my account was marked under insurance review, but I continued to receive letters demanding payment I would call and they would tell me to disregard that their system automatically sends the letters and they are still waiting for the insurance every time I would call my insurance they would inform that they still hadn’t received the claim. They have even called themselves and were ensured they were going to submit the claim. I recently was sent to debt collections. I called the number immediately the supervisor was rude and told me it’s not his problems and denied ever being told that my account would be put on hold for insurance review, he also stated they did not have to submit the claim to the secondary if they did not want to. They still never submitted the claim to my secondary insurance. My secondary insurance also sent them the explanation of benefits proving that even if they deny the claim per their contract they cannot bill me. I believe they are purposely not billing my secondary and this is fraud. I called again today and they do not want to resolve the issues and reverse the collection and properly submit the claim to my secondary insurance as they have been asked to do for 7 months
