      I never received the book I paid for, and got the runaround when I asked for information about my order. Then Wildmans Books just stopped responding.

      I ordered a book on March 16, 2022. I never received the book and contacted customer service many times. Finally I got told they would issue a refund check on January 17, 2023. I'm still waiting on that refund check.

      I do not believe they will look into it or provide the refund.  So many emails I have sent have been completely ignored for over 2 years, as have many made by other people according to reviews I have read.  They steal your money and don't provide you with the products offered.

      I ordered a book called "Hidden Villages of Britain: Histories and Tradition Past and Present" from Wildman Books on December 10, 2021. The total purchase price, plus shipping, was $32.80. It was order number ******. On December 19, 2021, I received an email from Wildman Books that my order has been placed on special order with the publisher. The email went on to say that my order has been received and is being processed, but that I may experience extended wait times as the printing process happens. I have never received the book.I thought that the bookstore might be waiting for a new edition of the book to be published. I sent them an email over a year ago, but have not heard anything back from them ever. I waited until now because I thought that the book is being republished. It's a reprint of a series of English books from the 1930s. I would now either like to get the book or get a refund. If the bookstore can assure me that the book is being republished, then I can wait a little longer, but I think that they just plain forgot about my order.

      After an internal review of this order, we have discovered that due to its age, any refunds will have been handled through the credit card processor. Wildman’s Books never retained any credit card information from the customers and we have left any payments made by customers with the appropriate payment processors to assure that any refunds would be returned to customers.       On November 21, 2022 I ordered the book The Complete Japanese Joinery for $28.88 Order #*******. On November 28, 2022 I received an email from Wildman's Books that my order was on special order and would have an extended wait time for delivery as the publisher had to print more. I waited an extended period of time, which is why the time has stretched beyond one year. I have since done multiple customer service requests to which I would receive an email stating "Your request (*****) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff." , after which, I would not get any futher response. The last time I got such a response was on September 27, 2023

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Wildman's Books is not offering a refund or my order. Their response seems no different than,  "
      Your request (*****) has been received and is being reviewed by our
      support staff." Wildman's needs to initiate a refund or show that they
      are delivering my order. As far as any changes that Wildman's may or may
      not have made, they have not once notified me of any problems or
      changes.

      In December of 2021, I purchased a booked for $50. Within a few days, I was notified that the book was backordered and they had placed an order with the publisher. I was charged the payment. I have still never received the book and their customer service email never answered me (countless attempts) and now does not seem to exist (bounce back).

      Goodnature, ***** - Wildman's Books LLC Synopsis I ordered a book online from Wildman's Books **************************** ******** ** ********* on November 22, 2022. On November 28, 2022, I received an email stating that my book had been placed on special order with the publisher. That was the last substantive communication that I received from Wildman's. I sent follow-up emails on August 8, 2023, and September 9, 2023, but have not received a response (apart from an automated response that my email had been received and that I could expect a response within 2-4 business days). Upon conducting a ****** search for the business, I see that my experience appears to be the norm and that Wildman's is a fraudulent company. I would like your office's assistance in obtaining a refund for my order, and I suggest that any other appropriate steps be taken to prevent others from being defrauded by this company.

      On December 6, 2022, I ordered a book from this business and received a confirmatory email. After not receiving the book for months I began to worry. I then looked into the business more and looked at their reviews and immediately realized this seems to be the business's modus operandi and this has happened to lots of people. From what I saw, like in my experience, people order books, but did not receive then. On October 7, 2023, I reached back out to determine the status of this Order and received an automatic reply advising I would receive a response within 2-4 business days. I again did not hear anything so I reached back out today (10/18/23) and received another automatic reply advising I would hear back within 2-4 business days. I do not anticipate a response. I am hopeful this issue is rectified by receiving a complete refund I do not have to file a lawsuit. Based upon what appears to be a widespread pattern of the business doing this, it's looking more and more like fraud. I have not attempted to contact the FBI yet, which sounds dramatic, but this is looking more and more like they had no intention to ever follow through on my order and many others like it.

      I am rejecting this response because it is disingenuous. This is not a new problem. This business has been doing this going back to at least 09/22/2021 when they started receiving 1 star reviews for taking people's money and not sending the product. There is a long history of this, this is not as a result of any "significant changes in [their] daily operations, which have had a profound impact". It's been going on for years and they certainly haven't fixed things, because this dispute has been pending without a refund or any indication that the product is still forthcoming. Making a vague statement about a change in their daily operations does not resolve this. A refund needs to be issued.

      I am rejecting this response because it is disingenuous. This is not a new problem. This business has been doing this going back to at least 09/22/2021 when they started receiving 1 star reviews for taking people's money and not sending the product. It's been going on for years and they certainly haven't fixed things, because this dispute has been pending without a refund or any indication that the product is still forthcoming. I think the FBI should get involved.

      I Ordered a book back on August 8th 2022 and still have not received my book. I have reached out about a dozen times and a first was getting some responses saying at first saying that it had to be a new print from the publisher but the last time I received anything other than a automated reply was November 23rd 2022. I have tried many to get updates to no avail so I asked for a refund on May 12tg of 2023 and still have not gotten a refund or response.

      Please send me a refund for my Order #****** which was placed on July 20, 2022 and is currently Special Order...the publisher is out of business and the book is never going to be published again. - I had reached out on Aug 2022 asking for a delivery estimate and got a reply from Wildman's saying that the order had been received by the publisher and is on Special Order waiting to finish printing. She kindly linked my order to my account so that I could track future progress. - I then reached out again Nov 15, 2022 asking for an update and informing Wildman's that the publisher may not have any plans to print since the book was out of print and the original publisher was no longer in business. Wildman's reassured me that the book was read to ship as soon as the publisher releases the book. - I reached out again April 4, 2023 asking for an update but received no response. Finally, I reached out on Aug 17, 2023 and received no response. Today, Sept 21, 2023 I tried to contact Wildman's via phone ***** ********, via their chat bot, and via ******** messenger. My credit card will not dispute the charge since it is more than a year old.

      According to recent web searches related to Wildman's, this is the same response they have been providing to customers for several months.  This response does not solve the situation that they have charged my credit card and accepted my funds without delivering any product for more than 15 months.  This is bordering on outright theft.  Please initiate a full refund of my payment.

      Feb 2, 2023 43.89 Ordered a book, received a confirmation. Understood it could be up to 16 weeks. Waited. Never received any other communication. Started emailing in July for an update. Emailed repeatedly, received only automatic response emails. Never given a response or update. I now want a refund.
