I put in a work order through my home warranty ******************** , and they contracted this company to come out and look at my dryer. Well , this company showed up - pressed a button for literally 2 seconds and misdiagnosed a problem because they wanted and free fee to come out to just say they came out. The technician told us this is common problem and the home warranty would fix it at no charge , but then wrote in his notes that it was abuse/misuse that caused the issue. Also, the technician did not even unscrew anything to see what he was saying was the right issue - just assumed from literally the two seconds that he turned the dryer on for - so their scam is to come out , say whatever the problem is , collect their fee and then write false information for the home warranty to not fix it and call it a day - $100 for 5 mins of work - 4 mins and 58 seconds of filing out a report and 2 seconds of actually pressing a button - ************ does not intend to ever fix the problem , and just collect on the fee from the home warranty company and then s**** the home owner out of what is supposed to be covered under their warranty -

On June 6 2024 CPR appliance came out to my house to repair a fridge and a dishwasher. They did neither. They did no work of any kind but lied to the home warranty company AHS saying that they fixed my dishwasher and would return later to fix the fridge. They did neither of those things. I called and texted about 10 times over a 2 week period and they would not return any communication. The warranty company made me wait for a reply from CPR until they would send a new contractor. CPR would not return communication to the warranty company either. They finally called back and said they don't work on my model fridge and that my dishwasher was a plumbing problem, not an appliance problem. At this point my family could go no longer without a fridge so we bought a new one. I have lost:$2,400 to buy a new fridge 11 hours of my time on the phone with the warranty company trying to get my appliances repaired.hundreds of dollars on wasted food and eating out.

5/19/2023 this company was contracted by my home warranty, they came to my home to diagnosis problem with my ice maker. I was told they would request repair through warranty by tech. I was told by home warranty that CPR said my ice maker was under a class action suit with ******* and warranty would not be covered due to this. ******* confirm this fridge is not under a recall and no information of class action judgement is found This was false information, I have reached out to CPR four times without a response, I have also contacted my home warranty three times who states I need to check with CPR. I am requested a refund of my $75

I was referred to CPR Appliance Repair via CHOICE ************* Services (CHWS) to diagnose, repair or replace my 20 year old Whirlpool Microwave Oven, which abruptly stopped working on 05/17/2023. CPR's tech, ********, came out without tools or test equipment, looked at it, saw it was dead, no digital display, no keypad response, and said it's normal for microwave's to fail after using it for 20 years. He charged me $45 (Paid by WF **** card) and left. Since it wasn't tested, it wasn't possible to determine the cause of the failure or if it was fixable and forced me to buy a new one.I later learned that my CHWS warranty Claim #********* was denied, because it was reported that the failure was due to a power surge, even though that was never determined. Damage to appliances caused by power surges, aren't covered.I contacted ******** and questioned this non-factual report. He said he wasn't the one who reported this to CHWS, it was CPR's Office Admin. I called the office several times, no one ever answered, and left messages asking to correct this incorrect report. To this day no one has responded. I appealed this denial to CHWS, but they won't change their denial unless CPR updates and corrects their report to state the failure was not caused by a power surge, but more likely caused by an electronic component malfunction, due to normal wear and tear.

I put in a service request with ********************, they sent out 2 companies prior to sending out CPR appliance repair. The technician who came out from CPR appliance repair came by himself after ******************** was advised by the previous technician that the job needs 2 technicians, had no knowledge of how to even open the back of the washer drum, nor did he have the tools to do so. He also stated there were no bearings in this machine. My husband had to give him the tools to open the back up, show him how to do it and where the bearings were. He then proceeded to write up his findings as broken due to overloading which is inaccurate, in fact I had a load in the washer of 2 towels and about 5 shirts that I had to remove for him to spin the drum. The solution I want is for him to correct his findings. I know better than to overload my washer, my previous front loading washer lasted over 10 years, this unit is only 2 years old. If I overloaded my washers, my last machine would not have lasted that long and we only replaced it because the heating element in the dryer went out and I didn't want mismatched units.
