    This is a request and complaint for the complete and permanent removal and blocking of the following account listed on my credit report :SMART FINANCE *** Account Holder - - ******* Account Type - - Installment Account Condition - - Closed Opened - - 7/29/2016 High Balance - - $8,767.00 Monthly Payment - - $0.00 Account Balance - - $4,460.00 Last Reported - - 1/6/2024 Amount Past Due - - $0.00 Limit - - $0.00 Remarks - - - Responsibility - - Joint Account Past Due - 30 Days - - 0 Past Due - 60 Days - - 0 Past Due - 90 Days - 47 According to the statute of limitations governed by the **** and the official statement of Smart Finance in a previous dispute , stating that this account will be reminded and deleted from my credit report in July of 2024 .It is now August of 2024 and the account is still reporting. Please honor your previous statement and permanently delete and block this account from my credit report. I have uploaded a copy of the statement made by the company for proof please delete this account within 15 days thank you. In my previous complaint an unidentified representative stated that the reporting cycle has ended and a request for removal will be submitted in August of ****************************************************************** July. That is unacceptable if Smart finance stated in its own words it would be removed in July 2024 I should not have to file a dispute they should have taken it upon themselves to remove it in July 2024 as stated I happen to know that you do not have to wait an entire reporting cycle for an account to be removed from a report this act alone violates the **** and my rights I am demanding that Equifax removed this account within 15 days or less according to the **** and the official statements by Smart Finance stating this account would be removed in July 2024.

    For the record a representative stated the account would be deleted in July 2024 then later said it would be removed in August but provided no specific date and they recently made updates to the account reporting over ****************************************************************************************************** my request and the proof provided There should not any updates to this account except it being removed thank you.

    I'm not liable for this debt with Fishtail Financial I do not have a contract with this collection agency Smart Finance They did not provide me with the original contract as requested.

    Fishtail financial is an unprofessional company all they care about is their need for the money they get from us. I got my vehicle from Fishtail financial/smart auto and within the month of getting it my car broke down it was the alternator going out, I took it to smart auto to get it replaced which they did but a couple months after my power steering went out and then a month after that my brakes started to go out. Fishtail financial will bother you with the amount of calls you receive from them until you make a payment. I explained to them about my payment and they understood but they decided to repossess my car without my knowledge without giving me anytime to make a payment so they wouldn't have to take my car. Mind you I am a expectant mother and the car was my only transportation to work. The amount of problems I got from the car is not worth paying the company as I can tell reading from other customers who had the same problem as me. FISHTAIL FINANCIAL/SMART AUTO is not a fair business.

    Hello, in Jan 2019 I purchased a vehicle with Smart Auto/Fishtail financial for a 52 month term. My loan should be up in Feb of 2023, I have receipts and made payments of 189 twice a month, which at the end of the term would be 19,656. For the first 2 years they added an insurance plan to my account without my knowledge increasing my payments by an extra $70/Month. I was unaware of a maturity date as it was not on my contract/agreement. The finance company is telling me I should be making payment until JUNE of 2023, incurring another $2268 at that point. I know people get gotten over all the time but this vehicle has had issues from the start, i took it in multiple times and they would ignore most of my issues regarding engine/transmission, the vehicle has not been drivable for the past two years. Before I purchased this vehicle FORD bought back all these vehicles because they were to defective, I was unable to be considered for that due to the vehicle being used. I have been put through so much with this car and believe either fishtail financial or ford should help assist me as I was overcharged by $6,000, given a defective vehicle and lack of customer service provided by the company. I am considering bankruptcy as I have had to purchase another vehicle to be able to commute to work and to be able to take care of my necessities. I hope you could point me in the right direction or offer any type of assistance. Thank you, Gabriella.
