on February 6, 2025, i repaired both the front and back screens. On February 11, 2025, a black circle appeared on the screen, and certain areas stopped responding to touch. I got locked out of my phone for about eight hours overnight. On February 16, 2025, I took it back to uBreakiFix, hoping to resolve the issue. They acknowledged the problem and placed a work order to fix it for free but said it would take 3 to 5 business days for the necessary parts to arrive. That same day, I got locked out of my phone againthis time for 10 hoursso I decided to take it to Apple at *********************** in ********* to unlock ***** *****, they informed me that I had AppleCare, which should cover the repair for free. However, after inspecting my phone, an employee noticed that third-party parts had been used in the previous repair, meaning AppleCare would not cover it. Since uBreakiFix is an authorized repair provider, the ***** employee explained that the uBreakiFix manager should be able to replace my phone for free. While running diagnostics, my phone kept showing system errors, so ***** ultimately decided to send it out for repair at no cost to me. However, they also mentioned that if the repair facility found additional issues, I might have to pay extra fees. After ***** sent my phone out, I contacted uBreakiFix to cancel the work order. A few days later, ****** repair facility emailed me, stating that my phone was unfixable and that I would need to pay $379 for a replacementwhich was about the same amount I originally paid at uBreakiFix. When I received my phone back from *****, I contacted uBreakiFix to request a refund, explaining everything that had happened. They told me they could only process a refund if I returned the original device. However, when I spoke with *****, they confirmed that they cannot return the old device. Even though I had proof of the work order, diagnostic report, and my payment receipts, uBreakiFix refused to issue a refund.

May 2024 I brought my iPhone 13 Pro Max in to have the battery replaced. In doing so they broke the front of my screen and had to replace the screen with one of theirs. I was informed that the screen was under warranty for one year. Yesterday, myphone started flickering and multiple colored lines started showing up on the edge of the phone. The phone does not have any visual damage to the screen. Its not cracked on the front or chipped or broken on the front of phone. The warranty company is supposed to cover it for one year. Since I did not damage my phone and they had to replace the screen because they damaged phone. They are now denying my claim. The store employee told me that their manager would not replace the screen because it seems to be issue of the phone being dropped. But there is no damage to the screen that they installed. They said the best that they can do is wave $50 off of a new screen. Even though my original screen was never broken before they broke it. Help!

I brought in my ASUS Zenbook for repairs of a screen. There was a huge crack in the middle of a screen, making the touchpad unusable. I brought my own screen, bought from **** website but I was told that in this case the repairs won't be covered. And for a screen from their screen I have to wait. That's alright I thought. Two days later, got a call saying the part has arrived. They fixed pretty quick, no issues here.Bringing laptop home I realized the bezel is not afixed correctly, there are lots of glue all over the screen and small crack in the corner. Not sure if it happened when I opened the laptop or they gave it like this to me.Brought it back. And that's where the circus begun."Screen functioning with no issues so we can only refund the labor" - their words. So not only the new "broken" screen is never been covered, the broken bezel is not covered as ********* of the transaction is 09/07/2024.Amount 278.14$Business promised to replace the screen and provide a warranty on repairs. The shop refused to fix the issue nor issue a refund. They just inspected tye new crack and said it is fully functional.Came there from an ad on ****** maps.

I had the back of an iPhone replaced and it was cracked again in just a few weeks. I was told the back glass is the same quality as the existing Apple back but it cracked with a case on the phone. Very cheap glass product as it should have lasted and not broke with the phone having a cover too.

ubreakifix should change it's name to ibreakufix. I had small dot in my ******* phone. I waited for my repair parts to get there and was told my phone to repair for 4 hours. 4 hours later, no call/text. I called, was told there is "another issue" I needed my phone for work so asked to revert it back. Then was told "you can but your screen will be completely dead screen" then agent hung up the phone on me. All I asked was to put my phone in how it was like before I gave it to them. Is it that much to ask?

ubreakifix by ******* in ***********, ** My husband dropped off his ****** Pixel Slate for a battery replacement nearly three weeks ago. We have called twice a week for three weeks to get updates on the repair status. We keep getting the run around from various individuals and have yet to be provided with an actual date of when the device repair will be complete and when we can pick it up. Last Thursday, 02/01/2024, we were told by a "manager" that the device was already disassembled and that the repair would be completed in three days. It is now Tuesday, 02/06/2024 and we were just told on the phone that the device is a hazard to repair and requires an advanced technician and that there is no update on it's status. This is a nearly $1,500 tablet that you all have in your possession and no one can give me a straight answer about what's going on. Where is the tablet? Is it repaired? If so, why have we not been notified to pick it up? If it's not repaired yet, why? Why were we told it was disassembled but then told it requires an advanced technician nearly one week later? This experience has been unnecessarily painful and I would like it to end sooner than later. If this location is franchised, please have the franchise owner contact me ASAP. If this location is not franchised, please have someone on the senior leadership team contact me ASAP. If I am not contacted by 12:00pm EST tomorrow (02/07/2024), I will take further adverse action to the fullest extent of the law. Thank you. ************************** ************

Brought my iPad in because of the charging port. I paid for repair of the charging port. During the repair, the technician damaged my motherboard/screen. UbreakIfix advised me that I need to pay for the replacement of my device $319 or take my device back that they damaged and they will refund the money I paid for the repair. They broke my device on my birthday. My iPad was in perfect working condition except the charging port - which would work on ocassion. When I spoke with the claim adjuster at Asurion I advised him an amicable solution would either be to repair my iPad that they damaged or to give me the fair market value. UbreakIfix/Asurion sent the iPad they broke back to the store for me to pick up with no resolution. Now I am forced to fully replace my iPad which will cost me $1399 plus tax for a comparable iPad.

While on a business trip to ******* from **********, my iPhone stopped working. I took it to the closest repair place I could find this was the Ubreakifix on ************ in *******. I ONLY took it to a chain thinking I would be taken care of this was the farthest thing from the truth. My screen stopped working, the nice guy behind the counter couldnt find what he was looking for and after calling another guy several times we agreed it would be $109 for an after-market screen replacement. 2 hours later when I went to pick up my phone, he said that the aftermarket screen didnt work and they would have to install and OEM screen for $340. I have had several of these done before and knew this was not true. I told him to just put my phone back together and will take it elsewhere. After 10 mins he handed the phone back and I put it in my bag and enjoyed the rest of my one-day business trip. When I got home to ********** the next day, I took it to a local shop. The local shop showed me when they opened it how they butchered the inside of my phone. The bracket holding the connections wasnt in there as well as the Face ID/speaker. They explained to me that once this Face ID/speaker is taken out then the phone will never work with face id again. So, your shop in ***** essentially BROKE my phone. There were other things too like the batteries ribbon or whatever wasnt even plugged in. $100 later for an after-market screen and $55 for some fixing of the motherboard which the guy said wasnt burnt by itself meaning when the Ubreakifix in ******* opened it up they did some damage to it. My phone is working now without Face ID which is annoying. I called **** who is the manager of the Ubreakifix off ************ to figure out what can we do about this and he suggested that he send me the original face id to I can have the shop here install it. Well, I just got the original face id and its not for my iPhone X its for an iPhone 12. Ubreakifix ruined my phone
