I was seeking help to access my email account on MSN, which sent me to this site. I was advised I would be charged $1.00. I gained no help in accessing my account. Not only was I charged $1.00, I discovered that I was charged an additional $46.00 that I never agreed to. So, in less than an hour of getting no help, I was charged twice. I have contacted this company with no response. I expect to be refunded everything they charged me for. I agreed to a $1, not $46. I expect them to refund me just like all the other complaints on here., Every single one of them had the same experience I did. They agreed to be charged a $1, NOT $46!! I also used the email they provided to contact them directly. This is what I got back.

This issue was sent to you with no response once I realized you took more than you should have. Then it was sent to the BBB. You happily took my $46.00 as I can see on the BBB website and is an issue for many. I want my money back as you did not resolve the issue AND I only agreed to the $1.00. I expect my money to be refunded ASAP as this has been far too long to be resolved. As you can see, they are nothing, but scammers who take people's money and do nothing to resolve the issue. My next step if they DO NOT REFUND MY MONEY, is to go higher to file my complaints. I WANT MY REFUND!!

On July 3rd I became frustrated with a ****** thing (I later learned it's an app) called Easy Home Screen. I asked "How do I get rid of Easy Home Screen? I was "instantly " taken to "Ask Crew". I did not choose it." I must have given my card information but, I don't remember doing it. " ****" informed me he was "not part of the Easy Home Screen team" but said he could help me. He did help me with some basic information. After I was done and disconnected, I got notified that my conversation would cost me $46!!At NO TIME in my conversation with "**** " was I informed that our SHORT conversation was going to cost me anything! This information was buried (I guess)in the "mouse print " of the "Terms and Conditions " as well as the fact that my $$ were "nonrefundable".Question: Is this legal NOT to give cost information out front?Or, is this a buyer beware? I have NEVER had something like this happen. I am 75years old and was under the impression that I was getting a friendly service: WRONG.Can you help me? 07/01/24 Noticed two charges to my credit card for $1.00 and $46.00 from askcrew.com. I have never opened an account there or gave anyone my card number. I have disputed the charges on my card and cancelled the card. It is scary how they got my card number to place a charge on my account. Next thing I know they are chatting with me about the problem and then I discover thst its not Peacock. They just showed up giving me the impression that it was Peacock. Yesterday, 7/4/2024, in an attempt to get information on how to deposit $ on my daughter's Straight Talk Wireless account, I was directed to Ask Crew. I was told I would be charged $1, which I thought was a charge for using their 'chat' service. Instead, less than 8 hours later, Ask Crew took $46 from my checking account. It took a ****** Search to figure out what this charge was for, a supposed 'subscription', and how to stop, cancel this 'subscription', any further charges.I was in no way told either in the online Ask Crew text information or in my 'chat' with an Ask Crew rep, that I was agreeing to a 'subscription' for which I would be charged $46/month. I had an inquiry about an Amazon mix up and the virtual person sent me to the site askcrew.com I thought I was still in Amazon. The site said there was a $46 service charge but just a formality and it would be returned. I was scammed. I now keep getting $46 automatically taken out of my account monthly. I went online seeking a copy of information and receipts from my credit card company to clarify charges. The Ask-Crew website came up in response to my online search looking very much like my Upgrade card site (similar colors, layout). In response to the popup, I relayed that I was seeking to get information regarding charges. The site asked me for a $1 which although strange, I paid. The information provided was obviously an AI chatbot and did not resolve of even address my specific concerns. Just general info about credit card transactions. Then I got a bank statement showing I was charged $46 for a membership with reoccurring billing! I did not agree to this and in attempt to cancel received an email with the web address xxxx out!
