I needed help with my i-phone instant messenger displaying 1 notification. I googled support and received "Expertsquad". The rep asked me if I will pay $1 for them to help me. I answered yes. Now I see not only did they take the approved $1, but they are automatically withdrawing $29 monthly out of my account. HUGE SCAM!!!Expert Squad

Scam. No help. I did ask for a single support and not a monthly subscription, but was charged the monthly rate. Called them and they would not refund. Complained to PayPal and they were also no help!Expert Squad

I needed help with Charge 5 Fitbit and this tech support chat came up--though I was working with a life person from Fitbit and when they couldn't solve problem they kicked it to expert help for a fee of 1$. What wasn't clear is that they were not part of Fitbit and actually were being charged for a 29$ monthly subscription plan for tech help. It is buried in their terms that you agree to when you accept their 1$ charge Come to find out it didn't matter how you answered the initial chat questions the answers always came back the same--thank you for the additional information but we will need to get one of expert staff involved. They did not solve the issue with my Fitbit except telling me I probably needed a new one. They did not tell me I was in a recurring payment plan so luckily I checked my PayPal and when I contacted the company in Las Vegas to complain the canceled the monthly subscription but did not refund the first month. What a nice little scam!Expert Squad

I contacted this company as I was directed there to add money to a family member's inmate account. It was for ab "advance payment" that was a monthly charge. I didn't want that as my family member was waiting to be moved to another facility. I did not ever finish registering for this not provide them with what was asked for. They asked for my cell phone carrier information and to go into my account and take a screenshot of my account. When asked what the reason for this was, I was not answered. The next thing I know is that I have been charged $1.00, (which was supposed to be refunded) in addition to $29.00. I later found out that that was their monthly fee after disconnecting the chat. I contacted them about a refund and had to explain it more than twice as to why I wanted a refund. I asked for a phone number to contact their billing department and was told they didn't have a way set up for speaking via the phone, only in chat. I seriously don't believe they do anything, service wise, other than pray upon people and mislead them about their supposed services they offer.Expert Squad

1 was getting the AntiVirus company TOTALAV for my Android cell phone !!! TotalAV charged me $19,but it said it did not go through. So I tried it again it said it did not go through so I tried it again. Said it did not go through so I stopped. When I check my Credit Card Statement I was charged $19 $38.95 and 38.98 !!! I went to TotalVA and this pop up said I had to go to Expert Squad. It said it would cost $1 and it would be REFUNDED AFTER I GOT MY CHARGES TAKEN CARE OF !!! I tried so many times I gave up and went to my Credit Card Statement and I was charged $29. I sent emails to EXPERT SQUAD on MAY 11 and today May 13 they said they would REFUND SOME OF MY MONEY !!! The only Question I asked was why was I charged $29 !!! Their rules on REFUNDS has a little chart $1,$2$3$4$5 etc.for how many questions was asked !!! If you ask for refund within 7 days you get refund !!! They said they will refund partial refund and it was already sent my email they sent was at 8:30 am today, I have seen anything !!! They also it was really againist the policy to refund the money !!! I would give them a MINUSES STARS !!!Expert Squad
