This company is fraudulent. They sent out mass mailings to those registered with student loans to get them to act fast before it was too late to qualify. They use what looks like legitimate US Student loan services on all their mailings. When you call they tell you they need to consolidate your loan to an IDR, which can cost up to 400 per loan. After which they use deceiving tactics to sell you the idea that it's very difficult to fill out the loan forgiveness application the way the *** wants it, remember the annual due date, and find the site to submit the application. So, after painting this complicated process, they offer to send a pre-filled application to you once a year for signatures, to submit on your behalf to guarantee you stay in the program. All the while the money they are charging you monthly ($49.00) is thought to be going towards your loan, but it actually isn't, so your balance continues to accrue interest because they tell you to put it in forebearance while they "wait for government updates". Keep in mind these programs require ***** years of qualified payments, and according to them, each month you stay in the program and make a lower payment ($49) it counts as a qualifying paid month. Come to find out over a year later that this can all be done for free by the borrower on the governement education website, but they purposely make no mention of this and most likely hide it somewhere in the small print but don't direct your attention to it. Furthermore, they leave out the fact that these loan programs could end, therefore making their "services" unneccessary, and 600 annually is all for nothing. When trying to call in, they almost never answer, and take lots of time to respond if at all. Their customer service number listed on their emails **************) doesn't even ring through anymore and they don't return your call. I am filing for a full refund of the $799 initiation charge (June 2023) and the $49 payments taken monthly since July 2023.

This company reached out to me in reference to consolidating my student loan. I have been going back and forth with them for over a year about missing documents that I have mailed several times. The last time I had it delivered to be accepted with a signature. Now, I can not get anyone on the phone. It keeps saying no one is available to answer my call. I spoke with the original student loan company that stated they have not received any consolidation forms from this company. I have spent $893.63 with Superior and want my money back. I still have all of my original documents to support this claim.

This is a scam company that claims to service loans for the SAVE/REPAYE program. They claim that they work with Aidvantage (govt student loan program) and I have emails to prove it. They charged me $799 and $49/month since October 2023 to put the money towards the loans. Thats $799 on October 4th, 2023 and then a $49 recurring payment on the 18th of each month (14 payments of $49). the *** caught on and is suing them. They also changed their name to ************. Also, December 2023, they created a fraudulent check with my name and address, and cashed it I have screenshots from my bank. Refund my $1485.

I have been scammed by superior servicing. I was told that if I made 300 payments of $49 per month - my loans would be forgiven. I have now found out that none of my money has gone towards my loans being forgiven. This company is a scam! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!

My interaction with Superior Servicing LLC began with the promise of assistance in managing my student loan debt. I was never made aware that I would be getting charged $49.00 each month plus a charge of $299.00. I never sent in signed paperwork they requested. The charges started on April 2023 through when I caught the charges in October 2024 (I received a text saying, "Thank you for using Accredit. Your next payment of $49.00 is scheduled for 10/01/2024. If you need to speak with a representative about this payment, please contact customer service at *************. Accredit is the name you will see on your bank statement. Accredit will be handling the annual RE-Certification for your student loans."My bank only credited back 2 charges out of the 19. And I am requesting to be refunded the other amounts plus the charge of $299. The phone number and email doesn't work. My bank will only help me for the past 60 days. Please help me get my money back and close this scam down.

Back in October of 2023, I was contacted by "Superior Servicing" in regard to consolidating my loan and "helping" me repay my student loans by making a $49.00 payment each month in order to eventually pay off my loans. However, after receiving an email from the Federal Student Aid this month, I have JUST NOW learned that NONE of my payments have been paid towards my actual student loan debt. They claimed to be a loan forgiveness agency, however, Superior Servicing committed fraudulent activities by offering student loan forgiveness in the contract, and the company did not pay towards that contracted promise. I have documentation from their email account that was sent to me after the initial phone call I can provide that specifically states student loan program and consolidation approval. I am requesting a full refund for the violation and lack upholding to the contract and promise of federal student debt relief. I will now have to figure out the CORRECT way to pay back my student loans.

Superior Servicing LLC deceived and lied to me regarding my student loan status. This fraudulent company claimed that three initial large payments followed pay one monthly installment would be going directly to consolidating, lowering, and paying off my Federal Student Loans. I was deceived into the following payments to Superior Servicing as I was under the impression they were going towards my federal student loans:July 17th, 2023: $266.33 July 28th, 2023: $266.33 August 11th, 2023: $266.34 On the 25th of each month from August 2023 to November 2024, another monthly installment of $49.00 was also paid.Together the monthly payments and three initial larger payments result in a total of $1,583 over the past 17 months, all of which I was under the impression was going towards my student loans. Naturally, not a dollar of this went to my student loans and it all went towards the profit of this fraudulent company.I have already tried reaching out to the company via phone and email, expressing my desire to cancel any "services" being provided while requesting a refund. Naturally I have been met with zero reply. I have already contacted my bank, blocking any future charges.

Beginning of this year 2024, I received a call from a company called "Superior Servicing". They said they were working with Student debt consolidation, and offered me to make lower payments in the amount of $49.00 each month. They asked me for my social security number, mailing address and my bank account. They stated that to enter the program, I needed to make three payments of $299.67. I also filled out some documents that I have copy with me, but I did not submit them here, as they have my social security number. The amounts deducted from my bank account were as follows:1. January 26 - by Superior Servicing $299.67 2.February 26 - by Superior Servicing $299.67 3. March 26 - by Superior Servicing $299.67 4. April 26 - by Supeior Servicing $49.00 5. May 26 - by Superior Servicing $49.00 6 June 26 - by Superior Servicing $49.00 In July, days prior of them taking the monthly 49 dollars, I received a letter from the ******, stating I was not making my student loan, and that they have not received payments during months. I started making a research about this Superior Servicing account, and noticed they were not a legit company. I had to call my bank, close my account, going through a new set up of payments, with different creditors, which caused me overdrafts, and delays on payments. I also file a claim with my bank stating that this was a scam company and I needed my money back. My bank could not proof this was a true allegation, and they make a final resolution, decided they could not return my money back. I had reopen the case, with my bank, and they are asking me to proof this is a scam company, and that I have done my due diligence to report this company.

    Good Afternoon,

First I would like to address that we never reach via phone to enroll people.  They have to call to enroll.  We did a call review and during that intial enrollment call, we never claimed to be working anyone.  We fully explained that we assist people with federal student loans get into loan forgiveness programs through DOE.  We also make sure your federal documents are processed correctly.  The process can take a few months.  But we never claimed to work with the *** or your servicer. Now at the closing of your call you were told that you would recieve documents and those needed to be sign and dated.  You were instructed after that to mail them in to the provided address, which starts the process. You recieved your documents on 1/22/2024. You never mailed in your the documents to start the process.  Your lack of due diligence and follow through is the reason nothing change on your loan statuses or payment.  We reached out several times about this and you reached out to us as notated on your file.  Which makes us confused about if you wanted to cancel, why did you not do so?  If you would like to further discuss this matter, please reach out to our customer service number **************.

This company is fraudulent. They work by preying off student loans. They sent out mass mailings to recent graduates to get them to "Act Quickly" and cover all there mailing with what look like legitimate US Student loan services offered through the government. In reality, all they do is fill the *** application for you, and then for $49.00 a month, (~$600 annually) they refill your application on an annual basis. This can all be done for free by the individual on the *********************** website. This is never mentioned by the company, and they act in a way in which they provide a service to decrease your loan payments. I had to call into aidvantage to see if they were receiving any payments from the company Superior Servicing / Accredit . They were not. They say it was in the acceptance application, but no such thing was ever sent. It is intentionally miscommunicated over the phone. When trying to call in, they almost never answer, and take lots of time to respond if at all. This company offers nothing, and will actually SET YOU BACK in tuition repayments, despite their front to do the *********** aware of these kind of scams. I am filing for a full refund of the $750 initiation charge and the $50 payments taken monthly since December 2023. Horrible company, preying on student loan forgiveness programs. Take it from me, they will only hurt repayments, not actually assisting in anything. The forms for *** programs can be filled for free online.

Superior servicing offered me an agreement plan in 2023 that I paid on until 2024 in August that they were a loan forgiveness agency that helped people qualify based on their income for student loan forgiveness. The sole reason I agreed to this program is because I was contracted an agreement that my monthly payments would go towards my student loans with a forgiveness percentage applied based on my income. I surrendered over to this company a total of $1,200.00 plus of my income until I found out from the student advisor my money wasnt being transferred to pay towards my student loans and they do not work with any outside companies. Superior servicing committed fraudulent activities by offering student loan forgiveness in the contract and no paying towards that contracted promise. Later after speaking to several of their customer service representatives, the money that is paid towards their company is for their work nothing to do with our loans and continued to promise that I shouldnt have to oddly the school back of I continued to pay them and file the paperwork they provide. The paperwork they provide is from the ** advisor website. This company also gained access to our website and password.

I am rejecting this response because: upon receipt of the initial conversation and the initial sign up for the federal student debt relief program, it was specifically clarified multiple times before I signed any document that the assistance offered was going to help me pay back my student loan debt at a reduced rate because of the income I had versus what I owed and the amount of relief I could get by signing up. As it states in the contract not one person followed with me after signing the contract to take next steps or do any paperwork except what was initially sent to me to sign for an income driven plan. No information was sent to my school as declared in the phone call would happen not was there anyone to contact me to set up financial goals. The contract became null and void when the contractor did not uphold to their end of the contract.
If there had not been a promise to offer federal student debt relief, please explain what I would need this companies assistance for when my student advisor as the school does exactly what youre claiming to offer for free!!
I am requesting a full refund for the violation and lack upholding to the contract and promise of federal student debt relief.

As you can see from the email I received after the call to set me up, documents were sent to me and information was being requested from me and in the email it specifically states student loan program and consolidation approval.
Again I am requesting a full refund because I was lied to and scammed.

    Sincerely,

    Business Response

    Good Afternoon,

After doing a call review and reading your rejection of our response.  You were never told the your $49 payments go to your loans an no point did we ever claim that we would be paying your loans off.  We offer assistance in getting your loans properly consolidated with a servicer in order to get you enrolled into IDR programs (loan forgiveness programs). These programs are through the Department of Eduction. We never claimed to be the *** or affilated with any entity. We are a private company and we exist because loan servicer historically do not tell debtors about these programs.  We did in fact reach out to multiple times, you rarely followed up to any SMS and phone calls. As far as your payments made to us, docment preparation went to processing all information, verifing type of loans and balances, preparing your consolidation documents, IDR, and General Forbearance which you confirmed in your rejection message you received. The $49 monthly payments go to the recertification process, which recertification is required by the *** every year in order to stay in the program.  So if your do have any question feel to reach out. We will honor your request for refund even though you do not qualify for one based on service agreement.  You sere not lied to or scammed as we take that very seriously to assist our clients.

We consider this matter closed.  If you have any questions about the refund policy in your case, please reach out.

I have not rejected the response from the company. If you read my message I asked to be contacted if necessary and made another message that I agree with the refund because I noticed that when I responded it said I rejected their response which is not the case. What is this reasoning for stating it is a rejection because I requested to be contacted if my information is requested for sending the refund. I also emailed the better business bureau to get further information why is said I rejected it when that was not the case in my providing a response. Please clarify and fix that, my response is not a rejection when my response is read. Thank you.
