    In February of 2023 BBB notice a pattern of complaints alleging the item received was not the item advertised and ordered. Other consumers stated their item was not received. Consumers further allege that the business refused to refund their money. BBB records indicate that the business has failed to reply to the complaints. 

    BBB communicated our concerns to the business in February and March of 2023. The business did not respond to BBB regarding the pattern of complaints. BBB continues to receive the same type of complaints regarding the business.

      I placed an order on 5/9/22 for my son's birthday. Nowhere in the description did it say this game would be a reproduction or a FAKE game. It was supposed to be an authentic game cartridge, no case included. I paid $44.90 and the package was delivered on 5/20/22. Before even placing the game into the device, we noticed it was a fake. It's a cartridge with a sticker that says the name of the game but there's a micro sd card in the top of the cartridge. The game we ordered was *************** and when you insert the game into the DS it says **************. I have tried to call the company but their voice-mail says they can no longer accept phone calls and to email them at ***@retrogamingstores.com. it always comes back with an automated response that says "Because we are unable to provide phone support at this time, we are experiencing an unusually high volume of email correspondence. The current estimated wait time for a reply is 2-3 business day (no weekends or holidays in this time frame)." I emailed them on 5/20/22, 5/25/22, 5/31/22, and today, 6/6/22. I have yet to receive a response other than the same automatic response every time.

      May 3, 2022. Total purchase was 104.68 I ordered two *********** games and when they arrived it was clear that they are black market, counterfeit games. The cartridges are different than actual ** games and there are memory cards in the top. When placed into the game system, the system displays the name of the game and it says they are NOT the games I ordered- it says they are racing games and not the ******* games I ordered. . It is illegal to make these games and illegal to sell them. I paid a lot of money to only receive fake ******** games and am unhappy and concerned that others will and have had the same happen to them. I have tried to contact the store but am being ignored.

      I placed an order for my teenage son on 12/30/21 for a specific game. I was careful to thoroughly read the product description to make sure that I was purchasing an authentic copy of a specific *********** game. Nowhere on the site does it specify that the product is not authentic. I paid $55.78 and the package was delivered on 1/7/22. My son immediately informed me that the game cartridge did not look real. It is some sort of cartridge with an SD card inserted in it. When inserted, it says the game is "****************************c." which isn't even a bootlegged version of the game I ordered. The company refuses to issue refunds. I informed them that I would be contacting an attorney and filing a complaint with the BBB.

      To whom it may concern, I originally ordered a video game for my daughter on the 11th of September from RetroGamingStore(s). After receiving a notification of my package being delivered, I went to mailbox to retrieve it. But it wasn't in my mailbox, I physically went to my local USPS and informed the Supervisor about of my situation. I was told he would have to speak with the Carrier. Days had went by when she (the Carrier) showed up at my door with the package and told me that it was delivered to the wrong address or mailbox on the 18th of September 2021 and was opened by someone at that address. The USPS carrier was able to locate and retrieve the package from the residence and tried to deliver it to my residence, on the 29th and 30th. I told her (USPS Carrier) on two occasions that I wouldn't accept no opened package. That package has since been sent back and has arrived back, upon my request to USPS. RetroGamingStores received it back, on the 4th of October 2021. I tried to tell them that I never received it on the 18th, even after going to the local post office and talking to a supervisor about the lost package, but I was still accused of fabricating it being lost by their customer service agent.
