      I agreed to pay off a debt as long as interest and penalties were removed. Galaxy international said the company ************* agreed to it since the original purchase was through them. I paid off the correct amount that was due. I now received a 1099C from Galaxy International which was not agreed upon. They do not have anyone that answers the phone lines to get corrected and one of their sister companies told me to call a phone number and the number given to me was a lie as it was a phone number to an airport. Please help me rectify the situation

      I have called that number numerous times and theres no one that answers the phones. One department that answers is a seperate collector and has nothing to do with Galaxy. And the person that did answer in that department ******* international. Lied to me and told me to call a number and the number she gave me was an airport! They are scammers! I want this corrected now or we can file a lawsuit!

      I've called multiple times leaving messages I will call after I send this. I didn't enter into a payment agreement with Galaxy. Didn't know I owed money. I needed to pay my rent landlord takes credit cards. I remember I had my Aspire account I logged in the account wasn't closed or marked closed. I put my rent on the card to make a payment. Without my consent they sent my money to Galaxy for a collection debt. Aspire would not refund me they told me to call in get a refund from Galaxy. Galaxy has been never returned a call since. One of their employees told me this happens to people all the time and I would be able to get a refund. The person I spoke to at Galaxy had an attitude treated me like I was avoiding the debt I didn't know I owed. I feel I'm due a refund because I didn't agree to have my money placed on a debt I wasn't aware of. If I had a payment agree with Galaxy I could understand but I didn't. Aspire was wrong for sending my funds to Galaxy with no permission. My rent has to take priority over this debt.

      On November 19th, I began receiving letters for lawyer advertisements telling me that a lawsuit has been filed against me by Galaxy International Purchasing LLC. Galaxy International Purchasing LLC has not contacted me once about this matter nor sent me any mail communication. They have not served me nor properly notified me about this lawsuit by any means. I have not received any mail concerning the debt. I can attest to this as **** scans each of my letters and notifies me everyday of my mail via email. I have records of my mail for every day, dating back to 2019. I never gave anyone any handwritten permission that they could sell my personal information to any third party. I did not give anyone permission to sell my information to Galaxy International Purchasing LLC. I have not received any calls from them whatsoever, nor have they left any voicemails. How is it possible that a company from ********* has my personal information when I have never given any written consent? I only found out about this through advertisements from lawyers who want to defend me in this matter. I have not been served in person about this lawsuit nor have they reported this to a credit bureau. They have made no efforts to contact me to resolve this matter.

      I am being sued by Galaxy international purchasing LLC through ************ LLP. When I contacted ************ LLP they informed me that Galaxy international was in fact ***********. At this point I'm totally confused. I asked how it would report to my credit report if paid since Galaxy international was not on my credit report. She appeared to have no answer for me. She told me to contact the original creditor who then told me to contact Galaxy. I have requested that this be removed from my credit report with no clear answer.

      This business sued me for a debt that I owed even before they sent me a letter to resolve the debt with them. I could not pay the debt because I lost my job during the pandemic. I answered the lawsuit, and at which time I told them I would settle with them. I went on to make online payments, which I satisfied the dollar amount, however, they never deducted the money from my bank. They now are coming back to tell me I never paid them. There is all the information on their online payment portal showing that I attempted to make payments. I am not sure why they are making this so difficult and causing me so many problems as they have clearly never tried to work with me to solve the debt at all.

      Galaxy International I have never heard of and have never been contacted by this company before. Received a court petition for $5000.00. How about you reaching out first and establish contact before sending someone to court. Let it be known that you are now working on the behalf of XYZ company. Whether or not you consumed an account through them. SCAMS are happening every day and we all work hard for our money. But to have it stolen, bullied and manipulated should also be a crime and someone should have you stand before a Judge. This course of action is not acceptable. People have no issues paying what they owe but it should be done in decency and in order. If they took the time to mail a judgement they could have done the same thing with sending a letter stating an attempt to collect a debt. Now I will counter with my lawyer by sending them a letter. With all the stuff that is going on in the world this is what businesses are doing now!!!!
