Casino was dirty and nasty especially the bars. Sat at a machine at the USBC bar and all of them were sticky and nasty. Other bars were the same way. Came home and got sick which I know came from the hotel. The room had a terrible odor. Food was just okay. Mexican restaurant was not good at all especially for the price. Had carne asada and couldn't even cut it. Just a bad experience all the way around.

I think the hotel registration employees need some kindness trying, they hardly ever look like they enjoy their jobs. But I'm here for the poker room. I tell you what, it is like a well oiled machine. 4 tournaments a day and the employees are amazing. Maybe 3 dealers were yucky and the other 30 were absolutely on point

I'm not seeking any money. I just want to warn others about what I feel is an underhanded and shady business practice of not being totally honest with the customer up front. I called and made a reservation for 2 nights through the hotel reservation desk. I was told my total (it included taxes and fees is what she said) came to $206.47. I asked again, Is this my total bill? She said yes. Not a word about any surprise fees. So, I go to check out and I'm handed an additional charge of $54 for resort fees ($27 a day). I said, wait a minute i was quoted another price as my total. So I went back to my original emailed receipt, and if you scroll allllllllll the way to the bottom ... under FEES it says "You will be asked to pay the following charges AT THE PROPERTY, equaling $54" Why was this not made clear at the beginning? To make things even shadier, when i asked for a receipt with the full amount I have paid, it was not forthcoming. The hotel clerk merely said something to the affect that she can only give me a receipt "for the current charges." Unbelievable. So, if you say at the South Point, I'm just saying keep your eyes wide open and read all the fine print. Because even if you ask "Is this my total," you can bet there will be more. This is an underhanded, deceptive way of doing business and not appreciated at all. I will never stay here again. South Point, your inability to be honest with me from the beginning just cost you a customer. I visit my son in Las Vegas all the time. But when I do, I won't be staying at your hotel. Hope losing a customer was worth it to you.

I loved South Point so much I told all my friends and family until recently. We are a retired couple both have lost our spouses. South Point was our getaway. Ah the shows, food, the bowling and of course the gambling. We are not heavy gamblers but I’ve won and certainly have lost. Lately we’ve been making it a point to see the shows at South Point. No disappointment there. Yet when I questioned why we did not get a comp offer for July, August or September I was told to check back after our June stay and they’d look at my account again. We did as instructed and spoke to the Casino Host who gave us a lecture as to why he would not reevaluate our account. I explained this is what we were told to do. I don’t understand you advertise all these things to do and we do them Yet I’m told we didn’t play enough. We eat all meals at the casino, we bowl, we see the shows, we gamble yet it’s not enough. I even brought my parents who were 91 and 95 a year and half ago. My mother passed a year ago May. My father now lives with us he is 97. We brought him there a few months back. Yet it’s not enough. You’re pushing away the middle class. I have reservations for Sept I need to cancel. I was offered a free room elsewhere. Just like you need BIG spenders I need hotels that appreciate that we visit them. Last time I was there at check in I witnessed a hotel clerk being rude to an elderly lady.. The lady was not aware of the $20 early check in fee and declined to get the room early. The receptionist took her license and credit card and pushed them rudely back to her and said “then I’ll see you at 2:00.” Her actions/body language were so obviously rude the lady just picked up her ID and left. I’ve written to you on your own site and nobody has contacted me back. I filled out your survey …same thing. Congratulations you’ve become like many businesses now who look down on the middle class. Remember we may not be high rollers but I bet we keep the slots working! Lighten up!

Hello Ms. *****, we wanted to take time to address the issues you’ve encountered during your stay with us. Regarding mailers and comps, all of our comps and mailers are based upon a criteria of play, you can contact a Slot Host or a Pit Boss to check your play on your players card to see what kind of comps or discounts we can offer you. Please accept our apologize for the experience you had at front desk with the clerk being rude, we will notify our front desk manager so proper action can be taken explaining our early check fee since it is based upon availability, this fee was recently been applied due to high demand on rooms and limited availability, we have brought in housekeeping staff early to be able to accommodate our guest that want to check in early. Our guest are very valuable to us and once again we apologize for your experience.

I’m trying to see how I was banned yesterday from the casino all because a pit boss was in his feelings for whatever reason. I’ve been a loyal customer and regular at this casino for 5 years straight and never once had any complaints on or against me. Yesterday I had just arrived I sat down at blackjack and I literally won my first hand but my chip rolled to the top of the thing that the chips are in, I wasn’t thinking nothing and I reached to grab my chip and my hand was slapped by the blackjack dealer. I then realized I had made a mistake by reaching to grab my chip that I dropped, I nicely asked the worker to just inform me instead of hitting me. And that conversation was over then the pit boss I believe but I’m not sure I think his name is “Brendon” comes up yelling at me for the same thing that the dealer already told me. I politely asked him not to yell at me and he then said I have to leave and can’t come back or I’m trespassing. How is this possible to do to a loyal 5 year costumer who never had any problems there. All because I just reached for “my” chip that I won. This is NOT right and I need to figure out how to get this decision overturned. And I wonder did race play a part because I’m black. 3 of my white friends that go there with me all agreed that this would’ve never happened to somebody else. This whole incident is on camera and yall can see where I did nothing wrong except for tried to grab my chip. I even apologized if I was wrong.

I am formally filing a complaint in regards to an incident that took place at your roulette tables on Wednesday night 6/14/2022.

When asked if I could participate in a bet on a roulette table, I was told "no" by the dealer and patrons without any explanation as to why and patrons on the table rudely added snark remarks directed towards me in a discriminatory way. The pit boss and patrons condoned these actions and I felt I was targeted due to my race and age.
