Went to suncoast with my vehicle to have lunch with some Veterans , i myself am a disabled veteran. gave my keys to the Valet driver and entered the casino and headed to the restaurant. after entering the restaurant not even 2 minutes later got a call on the intercom to come back out to the valet ,so i did. After exiting the casino i saw that my truck was sideways ( on all tires still ) but in the valet and pointed towards the south.. as i walked up, my front left tire was stuck under the wheel well, and there was pieces of rubber all over the road , the valet driver told me he was making a U-Turn for some odd reason and he went over the hump and the tire started to rub under the wheel carriage and he continued to drive it like that dragging my tire under the truck and tearing it to pieces. After speaking with the valet , it was his first day working, being a nice guy, i did not make a statement and instead exchanged information with the driver and ended up just heading home because it just ruined my day. as i drove home the left front tire locked up and spun my truck on the freeway and i had to pull over, the wheel bearing broke and it locked up my abs and brake plates and my truck was close to being on fire as the brake pad was heated up to a bright red. i towed my truck home and waited for a call. after weeks go by, i did not get contacted so i went back to the casino weeks later to see what was going on, i ran into the same valet guy, he told me he couldn't take care of it, so i made a statement. I waited weeks again and was not contacted by anyone, so i took it upon my self to reach out to their risk management. after talking to them i had explained my situation and being i am a single father and a disabled veteran, this is my only vehicle and i towed it to a shop to get fixed hoping they would pay for the repairs. after two weeks of going back and forth with their HR, they sent me an email yesterday saying they have insufficient evidence that they damaged my vehicle and would not be paying for the repairs, now my truck is in the shop and i can not pay for it, i have missed multiple VA appointments during this time. the truck is in the shop completely fixed and i can't take it out because i dont have the funds for it. everyday i have been getting charged a storage fee so the tab is getting larger and larger by the day. crazy how a million dollar cooperation cant cough up $2500.00 for something they did. i am a single father of 3 young children and have a disability from the army that makes it hard to get around. being all 3 of my children have school, this has been such a stressor and halt on my life lately.
