      Gigfire is the most awfullest internet service ever. I had a local company called Rural Com and Gigfire bought them out. I wasn’t even notified they sold. I don’t have service at least 3-4 times a week. I’m on on with tech support for ever and same thing service is down and being looked at and will credit your account. I DON’T want a credit I WANT INTERNET. ??

      I have been paying $120 a month for years and have had on average an outage 1x every 8 weeks. Latest outage has been 3 days. They have not given me any details of what the problem or if it is estimated to be fixed in hours, days or weeks. Their now posted rates for a higher broadband rate is $50 cheaper a month than what I have been paying and I can’t get them to respond to me switching plans. This is the same company as LTD Broadband now Gigfire, just a rebranding..most likely due to their troubles with the government handouts they have received and not fulfilling their commitments, a good time to rebrand. It’s very frustrating that our tax dollars have been supporting them with very little oversight. Now looks like I will have to fork over $900 to ********. If you are in a rural area like I am, make sure communicate with your local officials. Funding to provide broadband to rural areas is in the billions and there are lots of winners in this just doesn’t seem to be the average rural broadband tax paying consumer.

      Can I choose zero star? Something is terribly wrong with Gigfires network. My service is TERRIBLE. It is either down or 1/10 the speed I pay for. Technical support always simply says they are working on it tirelessly. They either have a terrible infrastructure or have a huge technical debt. I cant imagine any situation that they can stay in business without a major update or investment in their network or technical support. They have no business taking on new customers. They are purely a scam just trying to take money from people desperate for broadband. They clearly have no plan to succeed and must be riding a crappy train milking unhappy but desperate customers for as long as they can.

      Gig fire is the worst internet service ever. Since taking over LTD I’ve had maybe 20 days working internet. That’s over 10 months!

      If there was an option for zero stars, I would have chosen it.They bought out our local small town company. I didn't have any issues with that local company for almost a decade. I paid my annual bill to the small town company. This is when I received my initial phone call that GigFire had purchased them, because my check was written to the wrong company. I asked for confirmation of this business transfer and to receive an invoice from them. This happened promptly. I paid my usual one time annual payment. Within days, our business lost internet connection. We never got it back up until finally calling to cancel.Their service department is a joke. We couldn't get any answers more than unplugging or plugging things back in. They just kept telling us that we would receive a phone call. That didn't happen for three weeks. When the service tech finally showed up. He told us to call him if we experienced any further issues. We did that day and gave him a call on the number he provided. Which ended up being a disconnected phone.I called to cancel and received a voice mail for the billing department; so I am currently waiting to ensure that I will receive my money back. This whole company feels like a complete scam. Stay as far away from them as possible.

As of today (10/18) It appears that you are consistently receiving your rated speeds directly to your routers We sincerely hope this resolves any and all concerns you may have now and moving forward.

      The company has great service when we originally switched over, now in the past few months the service has gotten absolutely terrible. They can no longer fix issues, no longer provide service, and customer service responds with the same response ever time.

      Been with LTDBroadband now transferred their name to Gigfire since 2014. The IT employees are mostly wonderful and had to deal with me calling monthly then weekly to where my work was fed up and started docking my pay/hours. I love the excuse the tower is down in my area when its sunny out or every time it rains. I changed out everything so its new and still issues. I cancelled with them in Aug9.2023 and still havent received my $700. back from the business office and its sept. 29th The equipment is just cheap all around compared to what I have now. You can see the difference in the quality.

      Absolutely awful customer service! We've been without Internet for almost 5 days now and have spoken with several tech support members (each time we called we were on hold for at least 25 minutes, sometimes upwards of 45 and other times we'd never get someone on the line) to no avail. They're full of BS and run arounds. Loved LTD Broadband. Hating GigFire. We simply want to know when it'll be resolved bc our kids need service for school but no one can tell us. They just keep repeating that they're sorry, they understand and they're doing "everything they can." And to add insult to injury their rep was incredibly rude & hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. Absolutely do not recommend!!

      Have had Gigfire since September 22, 2023 and we have very poor service. I tried contacting through email and the email address and company domain does not work! These email addresses came from the Gigfire web page!!! I will continue to try and contact but this is not a good sign. We have had service for less than a day when it became an issue! Operating only one thing at a time is struggle for this service
