I hired ******** Law to represent my son, ****** **********, in filing a response and appearing in Court on the issue of baby momma moving out of the state of Nevada with their minor children. There was a hearing set regarding this issue with the Court on February 22, 2022. On or about February 15, 2022, we received a call from ********'s office from **** and Mark ******** stating that when they went into the Court's file to begin drafting the response, they realized that the hearing had been vacated and the case was closed. So they did not need to file a response nor appear at the hearing which is why we paid them $1500.00. On March 18, 2022, I texted **** McGannon to request that they refund me $1000.00 of the $1500.00 paid to them since they did not have to do any of the work they were hired to do, but they did talk to us about the case on a few occasions which is why I thought I'd be nice by paying them for those conversations. I did not receive a response. On March 25, 2022, I sent a follow up text message to the firm's cell phone (************) to see why they did not respond. I did NOT receive a response. On March 29, 2022, I attached screenshots of those 2 text messages to **** and **** in an email (see attached) and to date have not received a response to obtaining a refund of $1000.00. I am now wasting valuable time having to keep following up without response that I want my full $1500.00 back.
