    Purchased light from amazon " Kalco Lighting 500522CH 2 Light Wall Bracket " worked for few months but then stopped turning on completely, tried to contact amazon they insisted I go to manufacturer since outside return period. Contacted company kalco but was told wouldn't assist since I didn't purchase from their site even though I got direct from amazon and authorized distributor for them. They kept telling me to go back to amazon and will not help me in any way.

    We have spoken to ***** before concerning this issue, in which we requested proof of purchase to determine if the fixture he purchased is still under warranty.  We have not yet received that information. Kalco Lighting does not sell its fixtures on Amazon.  Amazon is a platform that allows independent sellers to sell their goods, without knowing what store within the Amazon platform where he purchased the fixture, we cannot look for a record of a sale for the fixture 500522CH through our authorized distributor network. 


    We are happy to work with ***** once the proof of purchase is shared to determine if the fixture is still under warranty and to share all available options for repair or replacement.


    Please send the proof of purchase to ********************************* for further assistance.

    I am rejecting this response because: already sent amazon receipt before and did again today shows purchased direct from amazon not third party seller on there so why is that still being question need way to fix please and thank you.

    Attached message from business responding. Still refused to help repair or replace **** was very condescending kept repeating same things

    The screenshot ***** shared shows the seller as Amazon.com.ca in ******. As stated before, we do not sell directly through Amazon, so we cannot tell if this fixture was sold through an authorized distributor, from an individual, or how old this fixture is to determine if this fixture may still be under warranty.

    We have researched this fixture to see if this may fall under our standard 1 year warranty period. Our last sale to a ******** distributor was in 2018, 5 years ago. We have not received information from our distributors in ********** who have purchased this fixture that they have sold this fixture to Amazon in ******.

    We cannot tell from the information provided if this fixture was sold to Amazon from an authorized distributor or how old the fixture is. If you can find out who the distributor that sold the fixture to Amazon.com.ca is and let us know we can reach out to them concerning this fixture.

    We're going in circles we discussed this multiple times I don't know where amazon buys their items from and have no way to find out. I'm not an Amazon employee so how would I have access to that information?

    Thanks for no support and being rude by email. Again I'll never use your items again and will be leaving reviews online to reflect that.
