The new management and owners of Liberty Lock are AMAZING, their new location is not far from the old location. I had heard this business was bought out so I was a little hesitant to call my go-to locksmith. However, I was very satisfied with their pricing, the service was FAST and the technician was knowledgable and friendly. I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

The work was ok, but beware of the sticker price. I recommended ******* **** & *** to my mom and was not aware the business had changed hands. My mother approved the work, but at no time was she told how much it would cost to replace the lock and adjust the gate. That is until she was handed a bill for over $1000. I spoke with the company and was dissatisfied with their response. My mother is a senior and I believe she was taken advantage of.

For 30 years, I had used Liberty Lock and Key and thus called this company located on 5000 W. Charleston Blvd. in Las Vegas.
I was quoted $54 for a service call and $25 per lock and thus expected to pay $179. However, when the young Hispanic came here, he quoted me $50 per lock and $20 for the service call. Therefore, I called the office and they now said because I didn't have the keys to my locks. I did have a key that fit two locks though. They then charged me $48 per lock and still the $54 for the service call for a total of $198 as I had there locks done instead of five.
Moreover, the worker did not want to allow me to try the key to ascertain that the locks worked before I paid!
I thus had to call the office a third time in order for me to see whether I actually could get into my own home.
I then paid $198 in cash but on the receipt, this company does not even have their name, address, phone number, nor license number.
Moreover, this is not the Liberty Lock and Key I used for many years which was a reputable business. When I asked about this, they said they changed their name but in reality, it's not Liberty Lock and Key but some other outfit that's claiming they were Liberty Lock and Key.
Unfortunately, I didn't read all the reviews on YELP before calling them but have since then and learned that they oftentimes quote one price and then once the locksmith arrives, another and thus one is almost obligated to use them because no matter what, one has to pay the $54 service fee whether they change the locks or not.
This is not a reputable business and I will never ever use them again. Moreover, I think the BBB needs to investigate them for fraudulent business practices.
