    I received calls back to back from **********. They are relentless! Harassment is against the law!

    We apologize for the inconvenience of calling experienced by the respondent.  A study was being conducted with Oklahoma residents.  Although we do not have a record of numerous calls made to this number, we have made sure that this number has been added to our Internal Do Not Call list.  I can confirm we will not contact this number again.  We again apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

    I have asked them STOP texting me I have blocked several of their numbers I even asked to be put on the DO NOT TEXT, DO NOT CALL ******** still get contacted 5-15 times a day this is HARASSMENT I WANT IT TO STOP!!

    We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this election cycle.  We understand the number of times people were contacted was enormously higher than in any previous election cycle; however, we can confirm after reviewing our internal databases that we only sent one P2P text message to you and cannot find any other evidence of contact in the last two years.  Unfortunately, the numerous other P2P text messages were companies other than McGuire Research.  We also can confirm that you had been opted out as of 11/5/2024 after you received our P2P text message.  In addition, we have added you to our internal Do Not Call list so you will not be contacted by McGuire Research again.     I received a text from **** at McGuire Research, it came from ************. Msg says they would like to hear my thoughts on interesting issues facing ******************. And a link was provided. I did respond asking how they got my number and they said from my Voting records. I have read the other complaints filed and would request of McGuire Research to permanently remove my number from the database/s.

    Getting a text message from ***** with McGuire Research on July 31, 2024.My number is on the do not call list.The message pretended it is research done bySan Mateo County but it is not.

    We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Although market research has special cut outs when it comes to the National Do Not Call list, we have added this respondent to our Internal Do Not Call list.  However, we are conducting a legitimate survey on behalf of *****************  This can be verified by contacting the County at *********************** if they have any further questions. We would also ask that it be made clear we are not falsely representing ourselves as the complaint has originally stated.  We are happy to provide the BBB with documentation signed by the San Mateo County Attorney that proves otherwise, although this is not for public consumption and cannot be added to the complaints response. We can verify that this respondent has been added to our Internal Do Not Call list and will not be contacted by McGuire Research again.

    Today marked the breaking point in addressing a persistent issue with calls from McGuire Research. Over two years, I've changed my specialty landline number twice and have repeatedly requested that they refrain from calling it, as it serves a specialized function that excludes surveys and social calls.Today, when I inquired about the source of my landline number, McGuire Research persisted in the unprofessional practice of claiming they obtained it from publicly available Voter Records. However, they could not identify the person they were calling at my unlisted phone number, which is intentionally registered under a different name and not used on any public record or private registration purposes. The number included in this complaint IS NOT my landline number, but rather, my cellphone number.My landline is entirely private and designated for a singular specific purpose. Furthermore, it is a part of my security network. This recurring issue will once again incur personal expenses to reset the system, as was the case on two previous occasions when McGuire contacted my specialized landline.Today, the surveyor called my specialized landline from ************ and remained silent; I could hear someone, but they disconnected after I repeatedly said hello, and the silent call then triggered the emergency alert system and disabled my network. When I returned the call, the man claimed the survey related to daily products and services used in my home. Upon inquiry, he cited Public Voter Records as the source of my number. Requesting a supervisor only resulted in him hanging up. I have previously blocked numbers from McGuire but it is useless, as the calls come from various numbers. Now McGuire, Where would you like me to send the bill? This ones on you this time; I've excused it twice, I will not excuse it a third time.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.  We are trying to conduct an internal investigation into this case but are currently unable to because the number dialed was not provided.  We are not an inbound call center, meaning that calls made to the phone number will not be routed to our call center but would receive a voicemail to leave a message.  In order to investigate the agent that made the call and the situation that has arisen, we would need to be provided with the number dialed.  Understanding how our system works, this makes it even of the utmost importance to be able to conduct an internal investigation because the situation stated by the respondent should not be possible.  Without that piece of information, there is no way for us to confirm this number has been added to our Internal Do Not Call list or conduct the investigation.

    If the respondent would like to share the phone numbers that he would like to make sure are never dialed by us, we would need a list of phone numbers and we would provide written confirmation through the BBB website stating all numbers shared are on our internal Do Not Call list.  Unfortunately, without any further information we are unable to complete any requests or conduct an internal investigation into the issue.  We will wait until we have an update from this respondent on how they would like to proceed.

    These people are spammers, and hiding behind a technical loophole in the National Do Not Call list is not an excuse. Today I received a text message from a **** (no last name given) at McGuire Research, address to my wife on a first-name basis, for a political survey. Like many other complainants here, we are both on the National Do Not Call list, and have been for over a decade. While there may be a carve-out for political spam, that should be a clear indication that someone on the list doesn't want to receive their garbage. Additionally, their boilerplate non-apology apology states they obtained the contact information from the voting registration. Six years ago, I had my email and cellphone information deleted from my voter registration and my wife's, and both my Country Registrar of Voters and the CA Secretary of State has confirmed twice that our information is blank, so either McGuire Research or my government is lying.People shouldn't have to unsubscribe from junk mail and spam lists that they've never subscribed to in the first place. McGuire Research's business practice is shady, and they refuse to respect the privacy of people who want nothing more than to be left alone by outfits like them.

    We apologize for the inconvenience of the respondent receiving multiple calls.  This study is being conducted for the Santa **************************** District.  We noticed the respondent stated they had tried blocking the calls, but no mention of answering and requesting our live telephone interviewers to add the respondent to our internal Do Not Call list.  Although opinion research does have a special cut out when it comes to the National Do Not Call list McGuire Research does maintain its own internal Do Not Call list.  The number provided has been added to our Internal Do Not Call list and I can confirm we will not contact this number again.  We again apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

    McGuire Research firm keeps calling me about taking a political survey. I've repeatedly told them to stop calling me, but they continue to harass me.

    After receiving the complaint, we reviewed our different log files. We did see that this respondent was called twice and P2P texted once.When this respondent received a text invite, they did respond with STOP. This automatically opted the respondent out from receiving any further P2P text invites. Unfortunately, I do not have a record of this respondent answering when calls were placed. We have put this person on our internal Do Not Call list. I can confirm this respondent will not be contacted by McGuire Research Services, Inc. again.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

    I am on the Do Not Call list. I block the number but they call every night with a new number. I have written and asked to be removed from their list with no response, actually an INCREASE in calls. I see where they tell other people when they complained to this site they removed them from their call lists but it is more than apparent they do not do what they say they will. i do not wish to recieve ANY correspondance of ANY kind. Stop calling us.

    After reviewing our database for the last two years, we only see this respondent's information appearing in a study that recently ended in Washington.  We can say that we have not contacted this respondent in the last two years.  Although the National Do Not Call list does not apply to Market Research, we can confirm that this respondent has been added to our internal Do Not Call list and is opted out of receiving any further P2P Text Messages or phone calls from McGuire Research. By confirming that this respondent was placed on our internal Do Not Contact list, we can say that this respondent will not be contacted by McGuire Research Services, Inc. again.     they say they stop calling with their "boilerplate" answers to everyone but they do not remove you from their lists no matter what you do

    they say they do to you the bbb but they do not.

    so i reject their response until they actually STOP the calls.

    We are sorry for the confusion this respondent is experiencing.  This respondent was contacted on 9/11, 9/13, and 9/14.  They were called on a landline calls ring four times.  If not answered, we disconnect. Our server is coded No answer on all these calls.  We feel we can say with certainty that this respondent did not speak anyone from our calls.  They did not ask to be put on the Do Not Call list.  We put them on the Do Not Call list Friday 9/15 upon receiving the complaint and have not contacted them since.  We have thousands of people on our list and are successful in not contacting them again. This respondent will not be contacted by us again.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.
