I am rejecting this response because: I am Not listed as the tenant nor did i get evicted because i was never named on the summons and how did 15 go to 30 if this was so legal why wasnt I ever notified about the debit in the first place, clearly they've had my drivers licenses past 4 years. Not once was something mailed to the home trying to collect on this supposedly debit. It was just recently brought to my attention because I'm looking for a new home, and my arrest record is irrelevant I can also prove I was there in 2016 2018 I have family and friends who i stay with there while I visit. I never mentioned of proof about working from home my proof is receipts that prove i was in ******** that whole year their claiming I was living there.  My purchases of  glasses receipts email from March 2020 my receipts of a bed purchased in june 2020 and my vehicle purchased in july 2020 which i already submitted emails with electronic dates. This needs to be removed from my credit report and they need to go after the person they took to court and who is listed as the tenant

    Sincerely,

    ***** *******

Again this is not a matter for the BBB to investigate the claimant lived here and owes a balance they will need to dispute it with the credit reporting agencies or the collection agency.

I paid to rent a room or apartment as they like to call it for two weeks. My first night the toilet overflowed the entire night flooding the apartment. No one ever came back to dry the carpet like they said they would. For over a week the carpet was soaked and unbearable to walk on without getting your shoes and pants wet the entire 8 days. The women infront yelled for me hold on and I was told I couldnt get moved to a new apartment. I would like a refund for the 8 days at the least that I had to pay for wet soaked carpet.

GUEST CHECKED IN FOR 2 WEEKS AND HAD A FLOOD THEIR FIRST NIGHT WE RESPONDED THAT NIGHT TO STOP THE OVERFLOW AND THEN WENT BACK THE NEXT MORNING AND EXTRACTED THE WATER FROM HER UNIT AS WELL AS DAMAGES TO SURROUNDING UNITS. I TRIED TO CONTACT THE TENANT 3 TIMES SINCE THE INITIAL COMPLAINT AND SHE HAS VACATED THE APARTMENT. PLEASE NOTE ALL DOCUMENTS SIGNED CLEARLY STATED NO REFUNDS.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is not true. The maintenance man came to stop the toilet from overflowing. He said he would be back to vacuum the water from the carpet so I waited out all day and he never did. They never came back the next day and when I asked about it the next day I was yelled at by their employee. The carpets were soaked and unbearable to walk on without getting your clothes and the rest of the unit wet. No one ever came back this response is a complete lie. I even asked if I could just get loved into another unit since it was my first day (I checked in the night before) and was told no. There wasnt any resolution until on the 8th day the ** broke down and thats finally when a maintenance worker came to vacuum the water as much as he could.

    Sincerely,

    Customer Answer

    Date: 04/05/2024

I just happen to read the part where it says the maintenance came to stop the overflow that night which is a complete lie. I called the next morning at 7 am when they opened about the overflow and didnt receive any help for it until 9am because the water was entering into the next door unit. The maintenance came in the morning not the night as stated in this response from the Suites. I understand it states no refund but the contract also never said anything about paying for a flooded apartment for two weeks and getting yelled at for asking about the carpet getting dried like the maintenance man said he would do on his own.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 04/05/2024

Also I was never contacted 3 times. I contacted them several times about the flooded apartment and the wet carpet throughout my stay and nothing was done until the ** finally stopped working. This is a complete lie. I was totally disregarded. I paid for two weeks and after my two weeks were finished I checked out. There was no need to pay for another two weeks to live in an apartment unit with soaked carpet. Thats my hard earned money and I expected a  unit with dry carpet. I paid like everyone else who received a dry unit with dry floors and carpets.

I am rejecting this response because:

The flood started overnight 4/21/24 and was was stopped 9am 4/22/24 after calling 7am about it. The carpet was SOAKED for 8 days until the a/c stopped running and maintenance came to fix it then vacuumed the carpet that day. It was unbearable to walk on without getting your the bottom of your pants and shoes soaked. I was told I could not get moved into another unit due to the flooded carpet after waiting an entire day in my car because I was told maintenance would come back to vacuum the water from the carpets by the maintenance who stopped the running toilet 9am on 4/22/2024. I was also yelled at for asking about the carpet as if I didnt pay for a normal unit like everyone else. It was unbearable

I am rejecting this response because:
There is no reason why I paid for wet soaked carpets during my stay for 8days. That was not apart of the rental agreement. Nor was I accommodated to move into another unit even though it was only my first official day

    Complaint: 21508853

I am rejecting this response because:the Suites knew I was leaving on 4/4/2024 since I did not pay for another 2 weeks. I paid for a unit that had soaked carpets for 8 days until the A/C broke down. I spent one day in my car since I was told a few different times that someone from maintenance would come to clean the carpets. My concern is not the next tenants experience, it is only my experience and the fact that I called on numerous occasions even after my first two days about the soaked carpets and was yelled at by one of their employees as if soaked carpets was in the agreement I paid for.

    Sincerely,

Living at the Budget Boulder Suite (which costs $1425 a month) is the worst housing situation I've ever had in my life. On a regular basis my partner and I personally deal with ridiculous amounts of bugs, plumbing problems, litter and unsafe conditions on the property, and horrendous treatment from the management. Our first unit at the Budget Boulder Suites was unit *****. This unit was on the first floor and had a massive bug problem. Cockroaches would appear in the house daily, as well as spiders and other small strange little black bugs I was unable to identify. I also had to kill at least 3 scorpions that all appeared in my bedroom. I do not feel safe in my own home, even though I clean the entire apartment top to bottom on a daily basis to try and combat what is happening, it is to no avail. I am having intense, paralyzing anxiety attacks on a regular basis over all this. At the beginning when I would call the office and complain they were cordial about it and said they would send someone to spray. They did, it didn't work. I called again and again they did the same thing every time (send someone to spray, it never works). Overtime they must have gotten aggravated with me complaining or frustrated with the fact that they can't completely get rid of the pests, so they have to keep on hearing complaints, but they got tired and they started catching an attitude. I get frequent belittling comments thrown at me from all members of staff I interact with, making it increasingly more difficult for me to stand up for myself. A couple months after we moved in, they added the pet fee, although they told us that we wouldn't have to pay one because my dog is only forty pounds. I find myself wondering if that was them retaliating because I complain so much, but if I don't report things nothing ever gets done. In unit ***** we were paying 1400 a month plus a pet fee of 25$, essentially to live in a bug infested space. I used some of my limited energy to call the office every week to report on the situation and was continually met with cruel attitudes and a lack of resolution. One night when I realized the kitchen sink was filling with sewage water, I had a breakdown. I went to the bathroom just to find out the shower was having the same issue- it made the whole unit stink like a sewer. I was completely overwhelmed and had a breakdown but managed to pull myself together enough to my way up to the office and let them know what was happening. At the time the employee working the desk was a woman named Hannah, she behaved terribly towards me and gave me no help with the situation. I waited until the property manager came in the next day and I brought my phone up, showed them multiple pictures displaying the issues I was having with the apartment and finally they said they'd move me to a new unit. When this occurred, my boyfriend was away for work and I had no way of moving all my stuff very far by myself without it taking forever and causing a huge strain on my body, so I wanted a new unit that was fairly close to the one that I was leaving. They said the one above it had just opened. At this point I had basically lost the ability to care, I just wanted to get out of the one I was in with hopes that would bring me peace, so I packed up my stuff and moved directly upstairs to T2228. The first couple of weeks of living here there didn't seem to be as huge of a bug problem. Then just like my unit downstairs, I started to see quite a bit of cockroaches in the unit. Also more unidentified black bugs. Like I said before, I clean top to bottom all the time, so I don't understand how this is possible. Then I had to go away with my boyfriend for a week for his job and came back to find the fridge was cut off or had lost power for some unknown reason, and I lost at least $50 worth of groceries. The management switched the fridge out after I reported it, but the damage was done, I was unable to eat for a few days because we didn't have the money to make up for what was lost. Things continued to go downhill from here- I woke up one morning, needing to use the bathroom, and to my dismay I discovered at least thirteen horseflies. I had a huge panic attack, and ended up using the neighbors bathroom for about a week or two. I reported it to the office right away. The horseflies continue to come from the bathroom no matter what I do. I've had my boyfriend come to kill them all, then we sprayed the bathroom down with bug spray and on top of that we covered all the drains, just to discover they still are somehow getting in. I wake up scared to use my own bathroom, I am holding my poop in my own house. I called the office and let them know that they need to spray again or something but I know it won't do anything, and I continue to receive an attitude from them when I try to describe what is going on. This property also has a very unsafe outdoor environment, I frequently find dead rats laying all over the place, and when reported, nothing gets done. I worry for the safety of the animals and children that inhabit the apartment complex. Also, someone broke the laundry room window and even though I called to get it fixed as soon as I found it, they left it that way for three days with glass laying on the floor. It is very apparent and obvious that they don't care about their tenants, they only care about getting their money. I reckon they don't have any interest in making anybody who's living situation is like mine any better or safer, and I don't know how to cope anymore. I desperately need help. Also update : My sis came over recently to visit and broke a window . I told them that we will pay to fix it from an outside source , because they want to charge us 260$ just to fix half a broken window. They said that we have to pay them to fix it and there is no way around it. It doesn't sound right to me at all . Please help.
