We were planning on moving from ******* to ********* on May 27,2023. We signed a contract 4/1/23. When the movers arrived, they demanded an extra $7000 to move us over the original amount of $10,000. We had no choice but to pay. Then when they arrived in ********* on June 1st, multiple items were missing and many more were damaged or completely destroyed. When trying to file a claim, the claim office will not return calls, the website for the movers and the claims company (which is a separate company) do not work, the original salesman *************************** will not answer emails and his cell phone is disconnected. My mother contracted with Beacon ****************** to move from ** to WI, ****** then hired Mover Van Lines to do the actual moving. MVL arrived at the end of May 2023 and packed up her goods. She was told her goods would be delivered the following week, which I actually did not believe, they over promised for really no reason.The following week she received a phone call from MVL stating they had lost contact with the drivers and would be in touch when they found out what was going on.Crickets for weeks on end. Every time we called MVL to get an update we were told someone would call us RIGHT BACK! Nobody ever called, we always initiated contact.Fast forward to February 2024 - we were finally told that we should be hearing from MVL's attorney, and said attorney would be helping us. Guess what? We never did - and still have not - heard from the attorney. I have emailed and called him over and over, and now MVL will not tell me anything. We have NO IDEA where her goods are, she is 81, the truck contained her life possessions. Most of which are replaceable, but some things just are not.She is very upset by this treatment, I believe our only next step is litigation against these guys.We did file a claim for a complete loss of goods last fall, but that claim was denied.Initial Complaint

On or about Feb 2023 this company picked up and packed my daughters home due to her disability (Autoimmune disease) They placed her items in storage. Oct 2023 they delivered my daughters furniture. All the furniture was broken, destroyed with rodent urine and droppings and items were stolen like a TV, ********* ****** ***** in which she uses for her disability. The company advised to file a claim in which I did and now they stopped the claim because I asked for my money back from my bank for the poor service. The cost for the destroyed items amount to over $8,000.00 in which my bank is not providing back. After reading reviews this is a practice of this company they break and steal items. I have file a police report and a report with the ************************ of ****** and every state this company is located in. My next step is pressing charges for theft, taking advantage of the disabled and other damages the Attorney General will allow me to *** for.Initial Complaint

Hired a company called Trinity to do a move, on the day of Mover Van Lines showed up. Not only did the price almost triple what we were quoted after we gave a detailed description of everything including weight of what needed to be moved. Mover van lines assured us they would take care of it and also tried to pass all the blame on Trinity. When the furniture was finally delivered almost more than a week later, almost everything was visibly damaged. Some of the Tvs and a soundbar were completely broken and an entire subwoofer was never delivered. We are waiting for a claim to be reconciled through them, but after reading many other horrible reviews, we aren't sure we'll receive a fair settlement.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:How incredibly rude and inconsiderate to state "not based on someone perception". Every single item we had delivered by this company was either broken, damaged or was not delivered at all. The price changing is quite literally just the tip of the ice burg. In fact, if our furniture had been delivered in the condition it was picked ** in, then we would have no issue with the price upgrade. BROKEN TVS, BROKEN SOUNDBAR, DAMAGED FURNITURE and MISSING ITEMS LIKE A SUBWOOFER ARE NOT SOMEONE'S "PERCEPTION". These are actions that DID happen and can be proven with the photos taken from every single item. It is very clear to us that this company has no regard for its clients, not even when they are charging way more than their services are worth. If we wanted our items tossed around, broken and damaged, we could've done it ourselves and saved the fee!

I scheduled a move of very specific personal items including important keepsakes and a few furniture items from ********** to ********. When the items arrived to ******** I was horrified to find that several items that were not supposed to be moved were delivered and the the items that I wanted were not on the truck. Multiple items arrived damaged or missing parts, including a mosaic table top that was delivered without the base/legs. Most devastating are the loss of many personal keepsakes and valuable items, including a collage of family photos, a needlepoint wall hanging, 3 large decorative perfume bottles, a Lucite shadow box with Peruvian purses, framed ******* handkerchief, and a ***** chair, abstract wall art. I have called and spoken to many people who all have not been able to locate my items. I need help and dont know what to do. This disastrous move cost me over $6,000. I received a false information about the service this business offer.The initial agreement was done verbally through a recorded line.I hired a company called Only Vans to move my stuff from LA to *****. The associated called ********************* was the one who made my initial contrat and told me the delivery would happen within 14 business days starting from the pickup date.I also told ************'d be paying the remaining balance on my credit card and he said it was fine.On July 21st when I meet a mover to pick up my stuff I was told that I wouldn't longer be dealing with Only Vans. Now my belongings would be under Mover Van Lines possession and that company changed all the initial agreement.They said they'll be delivering my stuff within 21 business days starting from the date that I gave them to have my stuff delivered. When the mover asked me when I'd like to have my stuff delivered I told him, 25th and now they started to count 21 business days not from the date they did pick up my stuff but the date I gave as a delivery date.They defrauded the whole process. And they're also denying to give me updates about my stuffs plus they're denying to receive card payment.If I knew that was their policy I never would have hired a company that takes 21 business days to complete a delivery and doesn't accept card payments.Unfortunately the only proof I have is the records of our call.They made me sign up this bill of landing where they put on date "standard" and I yes on the back it says 21 business days. I am rejecting this response because it's clear how they aren't taking their responsibility and push to the ***************** (the company I initially made the agreement and paid the deposit for this moving service) I didn't know I'd be dealing with another company and policy at the 1st sight. I only discovered that at the moment my things were picked up.This is a very common practice that parents usually do. This is unbelievable and unacceptable response.
I'm unable to reach out to the broker. He's unreachable.
This business response was clearly neglecting their responsibility and the changed of the agreement that I had done.
It's not only unsatisfaction just because my English maybe isn't clear enough to explain what's happening here doesn't mean I don't have any rights. I do have, they aren't right on doing whatever they want and nobody is gonna do anything.
What's happening to this world?

I used broker to coordinate this move-first mistake. At of signing the bill of lading 2-3 days before pick up date, I was informed then it was your company who was contracted for this move. No communication on arrival date/time until I called-told date/time *****n, movers arrived 4pm. The driver did not get out of the truck, citing stomach pains so bad he could not move. He was going to rest for a little bit and his helper would get started. I approached the truck several times to speak with the driver and found him sleeping. The helper proceeded to wrap and move the majority of items from the house to the driveway and into the truck. I offered driver ******* and went back to sleep. An hour later, driver emerged citing that the Tylenol had worked a miracle and he was feeling much better. He brought in the paperwork for me to complete and began providing some directions to his helper on the remaining items. By now it was dark, and they were loading items into the truck that were not wrapped or secured. Driver assured me that all items would be wrapped for the transition of items to another truck to be taken to the main location in ********* for final transport to my home in *********. It wasnt until this time I was made aware that my items being placed on this truck would be unloaded and reloaded at least 2 more times before arriving at my ********* home. Day before delivery, dispatcher called to tell me I would need a shuttle to move my items as his crew were not skilled enough to bring on an 18 ******* to my neighborhood with additional charge of $300-I had to pay a ****** for my property. Two gentlemen arrived in a U-Haul style truck, spoke very little English, unskilled and inexperienced, seeking help from my husband. My husband was handed an unwrapped antique table that was broke in half saying, we have a mistake. Mover said that there were a couple more mistakes on the truck. If you want a long distance move DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY find someone else. I had my shipment picked up on 26 or 27 June 2023 with an estimated delivery date of 14 July 2023. Let me first say 12 July it was confirmed once I reached out that my estimated delivery date is 14 July but not once did they inform me that the delivery date of 14 July could not be met. As I called on 12th and 13th July 2023, they just initiated my move from ********* to GA with no date for pick up. Every time I call and request to speak to a supervisor I am being told that I cant talk to a supervisor due to they are not available and to call back later. I call 3 times a day and funny no supervisors are available. This company is very unprofessional and fail big time on communicating. If it wasnt then your company fails to communicate the right information when asked. Then when I began to follow up no one wants to provide a supervisor. May 27, 2023 mover van lines came to pick up my belongings from ***************************************************** with request to deliver to 705 S. Lantern a Ridge in ****, ********, on June 19 of 2023. Total charge: ******* Paid: **** deposit Paid **** at loading Paid: **** at delivery I did not receive one phone call until two days before my delivery. 7/ 5. Although my delivery date was June 19. My property did not arrive until July 7 2023. After receiving confirmation, my property was loaded and on its way via email June 20th. I called for follow up on June ******************************************************************** stage with no driver assigned. My order stayed in that status until 7/5. Once delivered I was missing several items it was very clear all of my tools had been stolen. The Hardware to my furniture was all missing. And there was no one to compensate. At this time the office was closed and both the drivers spoke a little English. I was told to place a claim I have started that process and again I am still at a loss with this $.60 per pound article. $.60 per pound is theft- how can this even be a policy? I paid $6000 for transport and there is no ownership, or resolution. They have these working for them and cover themselves under this $.60 policy.! This is not fair. This is not justice. The delivery was complete in a standard time frame with a reasonable dispatch time for the distance. Unfortunately, the valuation protection higher than free one comes at extra cost. Response is not an acceptable response. If their documentation came with a clause stating your possessions will be thrown around and we do not care about the contents being damaged then I would agree to paying the additional ridiculous amount for insurance coverage.

I contracted with Allegiance Moving and Storage to move from ********, ***** to *****************, ********. First off they did not tell me they would outsource to some other company. My items were picked up on May 22, 2023 and taken to some sort of undisclosed warehouse in *****. My contract with Allegiance said I would get my things within 10 days, according to the guy on the phone. If not they have at least 21 days of pickup to deliver. I had no bed nothing for almost three weeks. I pleaded with MoveR Van Lines to please get me my furniture. They have been rude and not responding enough nicely even to verify that my things were coming or where they were. They only responded after I had to threaten to file a lawsuit. I finally got SOME things on June 16th which they said we have no truck and no driver. So now it is June 29th and I need the rest of my furniture.I can share the emails that I sent to them. Everything was civil and I tried to be nice until they basically told me to stop emailing and if they get a truck they will call. They ONLY respond when I contact them which is terrible customer service.Also some of the items I received are damaged and now I must file a claim for that damage, which I am sure they will find a way to get out of it.I just want my furniture. I am 70 years old, diabetic and some of my hearing devices are in those boxes as well as other items that I cannot replace at this age. I really need some help. I contacted Allegiance and they told me to email their customer service which is ********************************************** to voice my concerns. Even though they are the Broker, they are wanting to know what happened. I get the same response..."We are working on getting your items delivered and ran into a situation where we do not have a truck or a driver"I already paid and expect my things and unless they are missing or damaged and afraid to say so. I need to hire an attorney to get my items I guess as I am sitting on a folding chair. I am living out of a box and don't think it is too much to retrieve my things according to the contract that I signed.
