Back on January 06, 2025, *****am, we took the ****** for scheduled service covered by the warranty we paid for. This service covered tire rotation. We waited on site for the service to be completed. Once it was done we left and minutes later, we got on the freeway. We heard a noise and thought something in the trunk may have shifted. However, once we got home we noticed that one of the hubcaps was missing from one of the tires. I called Honda right away and left the message with the customer service person that was assisting us while we were there. I think her name was ****** or *******. I got a call back about an hour later, and I explained about the hubcap. I asked if they removed those when they do tire rotations, she said yes. I noted it was probably not secured and she agreed. So then I asked if they could replace the hubcap as the person who rotated to tires probably didn't secure it, i was told that it would probably be the resolution as that's what they do in these situations. She noted will call me back after she spoke with the auto service manager. As of this date she, nor any manager has not called me back. I have called her and left her messages, I have called the auto place and left the message, I have emailed them as well and no one has yet called me back about this. The hubcaps are the ****** ones and as far as I could, I cannot find them and most caps are sold in sets of four. I would like them to follow thru and replace this as I understood they would.Business Response

I am writing to file a complaint regarding the unfulfilled federal tax credit promised for purchasing an electric vehicle I purchased a 2023 ID.4 S from *************************************** east las vegas around august 2024 based on the dealerships assurance that it qualified for the federal EV tax credit under the Clean Vehicle Credit program. However, when I filed my taxes, I discovered that the vehicle was not eligible.Prior to purchasing, I explicitly asked the dealership whether this EV qualified for the credit, and they confidently confirmed it did. Their marketing materials also highlighted the potential tax savings, which played a significant role in my decision to purchase this specific vehicle. I have since contacted the dealership, but they claim no responsibility and direct me to the manufacturer, who in turn points me back to the dealership. Ive also contacted many mangers and financial departments but nobody answers the phone when im transferred, and also they hangup the phone on me. This misinformation has caused me financial harm, as I factored the credit into my total cost of ownership when deciding to buy the car. I believe the dealerships misrepresentation was either negligent or intentionally deceptive.I am requesting that the dealership provide compensation equivalent to the expected tax credit $4000, as their false statements led to my financial loss. Additionally, I would appreciate the dealership give me call resolve in this materialBusiness Response

I bought a 2017 Honda Pilot in April of this year 2024. I started having problems with the car instantly. New battery, windshield wiper replacements, windows wouldn't roll up . Starting in September 2024 (5 months after purchase) my car started jolting. When I would drive the car would push forward as if I was getting hit from behind by another car. Brought it in for service. (Note: I had Platinum warranty. ************* etc. They said, my transmission had wear and tear, control arms and struts were also bad and leaking. I drove it there bit the day after they said the car ceased up. I was advised that warranty was not going to cover this, with a quote of $4,000 to $6,000 for repairs. That's not something I could afford for repairs with only having this car for 5 months. I was forced to trade the car in for another vehicle. This was. Very upsetting. This car is $300 more a month and it just doesn't seem right that I was made to make this decision on a car I had for such a short period of time. I would like this looked into. Something should've been done better than selling me a much more expensive vehicle.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. Upon inspection, the customer's vehicle was determined to require multiple repairs due to wear and tear. To assist the customer, the management team offered to complete repairs at a discounted price. However, the customer elected to trade in the vehicle instead.
Thank you.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against AutoNation Honda of E. Las Vegas and AutoNation ********** Las Vegas concerning the poor service and lack of support I received regarding my recent vehicle purchase. On 8/24/24, I purchased a 2023 ********** ID4 from AutoNation Honda of E. Las Vegas, including an additional warranty package. A week after the purchase, I discovered an issue with the vehiclea warped rotor. To address this, I took my car to AutoNation ********** Las Vegas on 8/24/24.After explaining the issue and providing all necessary documentation, including my warranty information, I was made to wait for two days, only to be told that I had to return to AutoNation Honda of E. Las Vegas for their service department to inspect the vehicle.I am extremely dissatisfied with this response and the lack of coordination between the two AutoNation locations. The inconvenience caused by the delay and the failure to honor the warranty agreement has been frustrating and unacceptable. I believe AutoNation should have provided immediate assistance or directed me to the appropriate service center without the unnecessary wait and confusion.I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter with AutoNation. I am seeking a prompt resolution, including a proper inspection and repair of the vehicle under the warranty terms that I purchased. Additionally, I request that AutoNation improve their internal communication to prevent other customers from experiencing similar issues.Customer Answer

Today, I spoke with ***********************, the service manager at AutoNation Honda Las Vegas, regarding my concerns. However, his nonchalant attitude was disappointing and did not provide any reassurance that my issue would be resolved in a timely manner. This further reinforces my dissatisfaction with the lack of coordination and communication between the two AutoNation locations.
The ongoing delay, lack of coordination, and failure to honor the warranty agreement have caused me significant inconvenience and frustration. I am disappointed with the overall service experience and the lack of urgency to resolve this matter.
I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation. I am requesting a proper inspection and repair of the vehicle under the terms of the warranty that I purchased. Additionally, I request that AutoNation address the internal communication issues that have contributed to this unnecessary confusion and delay, to prevent other customers from experiencing similar problems.

I paid for my pulley tensioner to be fixed in November 2023. I have taken it back 3 separate times since November for the same problem. It rattles when you put the ac on. They ordered a part for a 3rd time. It arrived but when i asked if they completed the job. They said no its not making noise anymore. It wasn't making noise because the ac compressor went out. They did 3 multi points inspections before the compressor went out and they swore it was the pulley tensioner. Now that they fixed the ac compressor oh the mechanic doesn't hear a noise so were not changing it. ******* and ***** at autonation both claim i am wrong. I have text messages from both employees. I paid ****** out of my own pocket for that job.Business Response

I purchased an extended warranty for my vehicle, which is supposed to cover a period of 5 years or 60 months. Recently, I noticed a chemical smell coming from the air conditioning system when driving in hot weather conditions here in Las Vegas. Concerned about this issue, I contacted your service department to schedule an inspection and repair under my warranty.I spoke with *****, one of your service advisors, who informed me that I would need to drop off my vehicle and it would not be available until Monday. Unfortunately, I rely on my vehicle as my sole means of transportation and cannot afford to be without it for such an extended period. When I explained my situation to *****, she mentioned that the dealership is currently short-handed and does not have any loaner vehicles available.I am extremely disappointed with this response. One of the primary reasons I invested in the extended warranty was to ensure that I would receive timely and efficient service when needed. The inability to provide a loaner vehicle or offer a more accommodating solution undermines the value of the warranty I purchased.Business Response

Approximately 2 weeks ago, my husband brought my 2002 CRV to AutoNation Honda East, our service center for the past 18 years, the full span of my ownership of this vehicle. They commented at the time how well we've maintained the vehicle, and he replied that we always follow their recommendations. He had the oil changed and reported that the fan for the ** and heat only worked intermittently. They suggested a power steering flush, which we did, and reported that the fan's transistor was out. We followed their advice and fixed it. At no time did anyone mention that it was likely that the fan's motor caused the transistor to go out or say that fan motors almost inevitably go out on a vehicle of this age. Had that been said, we'd have replaced both just to be safe. On the 1st day of a 3-week road trip (solo woman traveler), the fan went out. I contacted Honda as soon as they opened. I simply wanted them to contact a dealer in **** (where I was) or ******** (where I was heading) to merely TRY to arrange for a prompt repair. Although I was told that it more than likely was the fan motor and that it was "highly probable" that they had not done due diligence, they refused to call. The dealer in **** has no same day service. Coos Bay couldn't fit me in until my last day there and said parts would take days to arrive. (Perhaps if they heard from AutoNation, they'd order parts in advance or see me sooner?) Due to their lack of diligence, I'm forced to drive without reliable **, sometimes in 100+ degree heat and construction traffic, and due to their lack of concern, there's no hope for a fix while away. Via text, I gave my email, as requested, to get a copy of the repair's warranty info. After over 3 days, I still do not have that info. There has also been no response to the email I sent. At this point, due to the impact this has had on travel and my loss of faith in the company I have trusted for 18 years, I am seeking a refund of the initial "repair" and a proper repair.Business Response

Today 3/7/2024 I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation that I'm covered for 5 years with . When i arrived ******* at auto nation Honda east attempted to charge me $130 for an oil change and refused to look into my plan saying im covered for it after he refused he said there is no way a person like me would be in the system . After i called various people within the company to get an answer it was verified by the customer service my protection plan is free it was also verified by ****** with my vehicle protection plan that my plan is covered and that i should not be denied service or charged anything for something that is covered for 5 years . He was a incredibly rude dismissive individual and everyone else was so nice and respectfulBusiness Response

I went in to get my back brakes done and alignment. I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey van. The told me my van was repaired and I paid them. I got into my van and it was making a popping sound and seems off balance. I told them that my car was not fixed right and I want my car fixed and I was not going to drive it like that out of their parking lot. The manager **** told me that will have the problem fixed at no charge. He gave me a loaner car to accommodate me. This was on September the 8th 2023. **** the manager told me the car should be fixed on September 11,2023. I came back on that day and **** told me that it was still being worked on. **** extended the loaner car to me until September 18,2023 because my car not fixed. **** continue to tell me that my car is going to be fixed free of charge and not to worry. I never been in this type of situation and I want my car repaired and returned to me because I feel like I am being taking advantage of and I dont appreciate being treated this way at all. I need my car and I brought my car to be serviced and not taking advantage of when doing business with this company. I am wondering if I will need to get a lawyer but I dont want this situation to go that extreme. I did want to complain but I have to let BBB know about this situation that is happening to me at this business so it want be done to anyone else. I appreciate if you can resolve this problem for me so I can get my car back and repair is done right. I am a women and I dont fix on cars and I bought my car before to this company and never had a issue until now and I know why this is happening. I dont appreciate this treatment at all and I want my car back with no added problems. I thank youBusiness Response
