    I was misled into purchasing this timeshare a year ago. Despite their promises, I have been unable to use it, as every time I try to book a location, nothing is ever available. They falsely claim that their resorts are accessible worldwide and can be booked anytime, but that has not been my experience. They also pressure buyers by insisting that the deal is only available that day, even though they hold seminars regularly and offer the same deal anytime. If a refund is not possible, I simply want to be released from the contract.

    Of course, you would claim that everything was done legallyyoure not going to admit that your sales team is selling a dream. Five days to cancel is not enough time to truly understand how the timeshare works. It wasnt until we tried to book a vacation months later that we realized everything was always booked. I may not have concrete proof, but if I were truly benefiting from what I purchased, I wouldnt be trying to get my money back. Your company engages in false advertising.

    ********* Booking #B-15494286 Cliffs at ************ Aug 30 - Sep 2 $387.99 _________Despite spending well over $10,000 at Vacation Village Resorts ("VVR") properties at their ********* locations in 2024 , the above reservation was CANCELLED by the *Property and despite having all my contact information from previous reservations, I was given No Advanced Notice or Any Specific Reason as to WHY! Further, VVR has (Defiantly!) neglected to put their explanation In WRITING!!!If you smell a "Rat", your nose is NOT deceiving you! The above are the *Facts, anything that I may write further will be pure speculation. Suffice it to say however, that if VVR is Foolish enough to protect a ROGUE(!) manager that engages in outrageous business practices at one of their properties, I will make DAMNED SURE that they regret it!!!*Of Note: Because of VVR's REFUSAL to put their Cancellation Reason IN WRITING, I am unable to *PROVE(!) that the Cancellation was NOT DONE By ME.     We appreciate your patience while we reviewed your concern. At Vacation Village, we take great pride in maintaining transparency with our guests. All applicable terms, conditions, and cancellation policies are provided during the booking process to ensure clarity. In this particular case, as your reservation was managed by a third party, we unfortunately do not have the ability to influence how they process cancellations or refunds.

    To clarify further, Vacation Village did not receive any payment from your August stay. Based on our understanding of the situation, you should have been eligible for a full refund unless the third-party companys cancellation requirements were not met.

    My Wife and I went to ********* 8/2022 for our Honeymoon. A group called ******************************************************************************** was in the airport and asked if we wanted to win a trip back to ***** for only $199 for 7 days, We signed up for a raffle and was called later that evening saying we won. They said we needed to provide a debit card for the charge, and we did. Next thing we noticed was this $199 came out of our account for 6 months. When we called Grandview they said this was our maintenance fee for our timeshare purchase. We never visited viewed or willingly signed up for a timeshare and stopped the payments immediately. We have been trying to resolve this with them and all they do is try to resell the time share, invite us to visit the property but have yet to close the account, Now we see on our credit reports they have report non-payments for over a year. We want this account removed, and these items taken off our credit due to not agreeing to be part of this timeshare,

    WE have a Resort timeshare and I recently receive a collect notice on my credit report. I have had no notices sent to me, no any of the correspondents from the resort has never mentioned that we did not pay our cleaning fees. We were under the impression that this would be billed to our account and it would be paid the same way as the monthly billing. Now I have a collection from this company and I want it removed. I have no issues paying whatever is owed but to be in collections for an amount is current is beyond me. this account is also tied to my mothers name as well. We both are on the paperwork.

    The Developer and its sales representatives exercise great care in educating each prospective purchaser about what they are purchasing. The closing process is divided between a Sales Representative and a Verification Officer. This split process is deliberate and serves to eliminate any possible confusion arising from the sales presentation by the Sales Representative. The Developer makes a concerted effort to assure that each prospective purchaser makes an informed and educated decision as to whether or not to purchase. All of the terms, fees, (Including maintenance fees) and costs associated with the purchase of the Time-Share Interval are documented in writing for mutual protection.

    I am writing to express my utmost concern and dissatisfaction with the deceptive practices and misrepresentation I encountered during my recent interaction with Vacation in Village timeshare, particularly with representatives ******************************* and *******************.During our meeting on December 3rd,2023, ****************** and ************ provided false and misleading information regarding the terms and benefits of the timeshare agreement. Specifically, I was assured that each booking would cost only $299, which has since been contradicted by RCI. This blatant misrepresentation has not only caused financial hardship but has also severely undermined my trust in your company.Furthermore, the aggressive behavior exhibited by ******************, including yelling at me for having my phone out, made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your company's reputation.Moreover, ****************** and ************ encouraged dishonesty by suggesting that my partner and I misrepresent ourselves as married and military members. Additionally, they falsely claimed that the timeshare could be rented out for profit, passed down to our children, and utilized as a tax write-off. These deceptive tactics have left me feeling deceived and betrayed.

    I Entered a timeshare agreement with a friend on 11/04/2023. I no longer want to be in the timeshare with that friend; so that friend and I called Vacation Village Resorts to see what were the steps to take to remove my name from the contract. The initial agent we spoked to said that it was in fact good I was taking my name off of the contract before the deposit was complete because it would be more of a hassle and fees to pay. After doing everything Vacation Village Resorts asked of us including writing letters with our signature stating that I was no longer on the contract, and **** filling out a contract with just her name on it taking full responsibility. Now that Vacation Village Resorts has received all necessary documents I was told by ***************************** that my contract is still standing until the deposit is fully paid. I've done everything I legally need to do but they are refusing to let me out of my contract.I can show proof of email thread with all information being sent in between Nile, myself, ************************** and ******** telling me once all the paper work is done my name would be removed.

    On 11/15/23, I paid $99.00 to *********** Resort, scheduled my timeshare presentation, and was told at the end of the presentation I would receive my $99back in addition to $75 on a **** card. I was further told that I would receive a 3 day, 2night getaway to the *********** Resort and a 4 day, 3 night getaway of my choice. When I spoke to the person on the phone that took my payment, i was told that i could attend the ************, ** resort for the 4day getaway. On 11/26/23, I visited the *********** Resort (Vacation Village Resorts) for a time share presentation and I was told again that I could attend the ************, ** resort for the 4day getaway voucher. However, when I left they gave me a premium destination certificate/ voucher that only allowed me to choose between ******* *******, South ******* or ********* ******. I would have never drove 3.5hours for the presentation if they were truthful and said I could only attend ******* or ****** destinations. Also, while there I was in the process of purchasing a timeshare but the salesman and salesman's supervisor were not honest on several occasions. I was initially told that I would be getting a 2bedroom then when I entered the finance office the paperwork said 1 bedroom. Also, I was told that I would get 12 months zero interest for the first year. However, when i read the paperwork in the finance office I was being charged *****% interest rate on the loan. As a result of the above, I decided to no longer purchase a timeshare. The finance guy was rude and was completely dishonest throughout this process. At a minimum I should be compensated with the 4 day getaway to a ************ resort as well as another getaway to replace the 3 day *********** voucher that I received since I plan on never returning to that location again. If this situation is handled correctly I may reconsider purchasing a timeshare at a different location.

    I booked a room online at ********************** (Vacation Village Resort). THe room was paid for prior to arrival. At check in, the front desk stated I had to pay a resort fee. I resisted, stating that I has paid in full, that I understood resort fees were not applicable. I was told it was required to stay here. I wrote across the bill that these charges were after booking and not disclosed at booking. It is my understanding that this Resort fees are in violation of ******** Deceptive Trade Practices Law.

    I just recieved a phone call from *********************. I was told that the full amount of the resort has been refunded.

    I am satisfied with this result and wish to close my complaint.
