    7/14/2022 - A few days prior to my telehealth visit, a female from their office called me to schedule follow up appointment to review my bloodwork. She reassured me they are in network with my insurance, which was pending on my first visit where I paid cash. On Monday Jan 16th, I went in for a doc visit and noticed at bottom of paper that there was a bill balance which I was never informed of for $105.00. I asked what it was for and they said for 7/14 visit. I said there is a mistake insurance should cover. Then a lady named **** (CEO/Owner) asked me to go to her office. She said no one is coming here and not paying my doctors. I tried to explain that wasn't the case and the office staff had told me it was covered. Also mentioned all the issues with front desk since I had been coming. She ranted on to say, well I fired the front office staff twice over and have a new staff now. She was abrupt and demeaning, wouldn't let me leave her office until I told her how much I was going to pay today. I said I just found out about this today and would like time to call insurance. She looked it up and said they weren't contracted till 7/15 with my insurance. One day after my visit. She then proceeded to ask me if I was there to get controlled substances on this days visit. So upset she asked this, accusing me of drug related purpose. I advised I was there to get refill on my hormone medicines. She said well hormones are a controlled substance. I went to waiting room and was talking to my daughter about what had happened and **** came to me and said take your call outside now because I can hear you!. No one was in waiting room. The office staff all had shocked look with hands on their mouth, felt bad for how I was treated. The entire office down to the nurse apologized, and they mentioned she gets alot of complaints. I have since called **** to see if she was willing to reduce or wipe out bill because of what her staff told me and she said absolutely not.
