    My name is Marine ******** and I am contacting you on behalf of my mom. She and the rest of my family live at ************************************************************************ managed by ***************. The balcony door broke and fell on top of my brother and the glass broke on him which resulted in several severe cut on his body and need for emergency care. The complex had previously been notified with issues with the door and made no attempts at fixing the issue. Even after this accident 6 months later the door has not been replaced. It is not possible to fully close the door so during the winter times it becomes really cold inside and during the summer its very hot. my mom and dad are both elderly with disabilities which makes the ambulation in and out of the balcony and around it dangerous as the door is not secure and may fall over again. We have contacted the complex and spoke with them many times and they haven't fixed the issue. they have sent someone over to take measurements months ago and have not done anything since. I am not sure how legal it is for them to do this but its very unsafe. Please let me know how you can help me or guide me to someone who can.
