Dealing with our timeshare has been an absolute nightmare. A representative recently informed us that we could either stop making payments to exit the timeshare or pay over $10,000 to get out of it. This is completely outrageous. The timeshare buying process was incredibly misleading—oversold, overpriced, and burdensome to maintain, costing around $2,000 just to use it once every other year. The conditions are far from ideal, with no air conditioning, making it unbearably hot and humid. Worst of all, there seems to be no clear way to exit this agreement. We do not want to be tied to these payments for the rest of our lives.

They lied about being there when we needed them . They lied about everything . DO NOT GET SUCKED IN THERE TRAP OR DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are CRIMINALS

Soleil Management is responding to Consumers Complaint in its capacity as the managing agent for Tahiti Village Vacation Club. Please note Soleil Mangement and the Vacation Club did not participate in the sale of the Timeshare Interval to Consumer.

With respect to Consumer's complaint, please be advised Soleil Management is responsible for the day-to day operations of the Resort, such as reservations at the Resort, collection of maintenance fees, housekeeping, etc. Soleil Management is not involved in the sale and marketing of the timeshare.  That being said, neither Soleil Management nor the Vacation Club were involved in the events that transpired on July 6, 2024, at which time Consumer purchased her timeshare from the original seller/developer of the property. As such, it is recommended that Consumer resolve her claims and her request with the current note holder associated with Consumers account, not Soleil Management or the Vacation Club.

My late husband and I bought the one bedroom in 2007 and I’ve used it once and spent more money for staying there than I would have paid at a 5 star hotel. I have looked for buyers because I am now on a fixed income and cannot afford the maintenance fees that go up every year. Any help would be appreciated. I do not recommend Tahiti Village (Soleil Management to anyone.) I just want out

When a person buys their timeshare and if they are struggling financially or hardship of any kind they should be able to take the property of the timeshare back

We bought a Tahiti Resort 2 bedroom before they were even built. So many, many years ago. We were told it was an investment in real estate just like our home purchase and it would go up in value. We obviously didn't know anything about timeshares. Such a ridiculously huge lie we were told. It's been paid in full but we are now retired and can't afford the maintenance fees. We paid an online company to advertise it for 1 dollar and no takers. Soleil Management doesn't want it back even though they told us it was a great real estate investment. You would think that they would jump at the chance to get this great free real estate investment.

They rope you into a purchase for thousands of dollars and it can’t be sold or ever gotten rid of but still have to pay yearly maintenance fees.
