      On January 25, 2024, I purchased a one year subscription to Explore Talent for $288.73. The service provided is an online platform with modeling and acting casting calls where their team also submits you to new job postings. On January 27, 2024, I called to cancel my subscription and the company would not let me. I believed I had a modeling job based on my conversation with the representative for $1,100, when I found out I did not have the job I called to cancel my subscription. They did not give me a refund. Their website reads 7 days to cancel within first payment. I asked to cancel within 3 days. I believe this company scammed me with high pressure sales technique and lied in regards to a job position.

      I don't remember when I created a free account on ExploreTalent.com but I'm guessing that it was in around 2010. I never used the account, but it included my name, date of birth, email, phone and location. There WAS a data breach (despite the protests of the company as shown here on BBB website in response to claims such as mine) and my information is now on the dark web according to Experian. There is no way on their website to DELETE your account - that option has been removed. I requested that the company delete my information from their system.

      I received a notice from Transunion today April 6th that my email address was located on the dark web and the breached site is Exploretalent.com. It does state the password was not compromised. I have not created any accounts with this company in at least 15+ yrs and to my recollection, I never even did anything with this company other than create a profile Id have no clue how to access. I consistently monitor my credit on a monthly basis and have never received this alert before. After a quick ****** search, I decided BBB should be notified because it should be on record. I have already taken the necessary steps to change passwords and will continue to watch this on my credit report.

      On 4/6/23, I was notified by an identity protection service, MyIDCare, that a search of the dark web on 4/5/23 showed stolen information including my name, address, phone number, email, and other data from a profile on ExploreTalent. I have never heard of this company. I never opened an account with them, created a profile with them, or gave them permission to use any of my data. I am requesting that this account be deleted at once and all my information wiped from their system.

      I was just notified by several dark web searches that explore talent was compromised and the hackers got Emails, Passwords, Usernames, Physical Addresses of people who are signed up. Which could be in the millions since they started this scam.

      We have tried to call the complainer to get clarifications, but always got his voicemail.         
      1.           Complainer registered with ExploreTalent 12 years ago and was never a customer and never used ********************** since 12 years ago.
      2.           Complainer complains I was just notified by several dark web searches this by itself sounds conflicting was he notified? by who? Or did he do a search
      3.           When you make a search on ****** with as many possible search terms there is no results on his assertions.
      4.           He wrote:the hackers got Physical Addresses ExploreTalent does not ask people who register for free profile a Physical Addresses
      5.           He wrote:their site is down no it is not down, the site is up.
      6.           He wrote:they started this scam what is the ExploreTalent scam if he claim ExploreTalent was compromised
      7.           Sounds like some hearsay story that does not make sense.
      8.           Please kindly classify it as information only especially since complainer not complaining about ExploreTalent services.
