1 starWe are bringing attention to the circumstances of members with a Jockey Club timeshare unit through the GEO Holiday timeshare company. We have been since 2015 and we no longer find this timeshare beneficial for us and has ended up costing us way more than we have ever anticipated. Since buying in 2015, we have only been able to use the unit only one time due to its difficulty and issues this company has led us down. The credit we have is never enough to be able to use unless we buy more and are difficult to transfer to additional property sites the company has. We were sold something on false pretenses and when we have reached out to them about ending our timeshare, we are told to transfer it to someone else and pay everything off in the process. They have been unable to assist and provide us with allowing us release from the unit. Their timeshare practices are unethical, their sales staff is dishonest and getting involved with timeshare ownership has been financially detrimental and we would NOT recommend using this company..Review fromApril B

1 starthey have so many hidden fees and restrictions that they do not disclose during their sales pitch. they allure you with free nights and vacations as a bonus when you enroll. but for those "free" nights, they will still charge you $99 to book.. and charge you "cleaning fee" which basically the resort fee that they told you is waived for ******** resorts members. also you cannot book your free nights right away. you will have to wait 6 monthsReview fromYamileth M

1 starMisrepresentation of the period of time time share property will be available. Failure to accept payment via phone refusing maintenance payment and charging more fees, string the timeshare for termination in order to collect extra fees and moneys . In order to forfeiture of membership. Im requesting monitor and recording phone call, when l intended to pay maintenance balance before the account was in collection. I was trying to avoid the account go to collections. They bring account to collection before fixing overcharges and fees. Actually they doesn't send a detailed bill with the charges after agreeing to a hardship program after COVID. Nothing in writing no emails with the agreements of payment nothing . Calling several times a day to collect payments, but not sending emails of proper bill and agreements of payments. Which l requested to be clear. In the loan department. And in financial department to pay maintenance. When l called they refused to take my maintenance payment prior to be send to collections and they added more fees after l intended to pay over the phone, setting me up to a debt and losing my membership after 5 years of consecutive making payments. Inclusion of any provision in a timeshare contract that professes to waive rights or benefits offered to buyers in the timeshare arrangement. Advertising the timeshare in Groupon and Expedia jockey club and when we call tomake reservations is impossible to find a room in the resorts. Overcharging maintenance of 800. After purchasing , a month after when maintenance is less than 800. . we started membership only one month. Misinterpreted of contract hidden fees. Not answering the phone when we want to place a reservation is a 45 minutes hold and sometimes disconnections happen .is hard to make a reservation , is frustrating.. 1 starHorrible company. Fell for it in Vegas. Thought it would be a great way to get a vacation in yearly. Nope. Never any vacancy at the Jockey club. Can only book within the 30 days you want to use the week. Last time I tried to use the”points” was told the points I bought won’t cover the week I was told it would. Every year it’s something. Increasing yearly fees. Points can’t be rolled to the next year. Not enough points to book (but they were quick to try to sell me more). Complete scam. Stay away.Review fromRoger G

They Completely scammed us in 2020, right after we committed to purchase the pandemic hit. I called and talked with several people who assured me that all credits would "roll over" . I spoke with someone early 2022 and advised them I would likely not use it until 2023. They again assured me no problem they would "roll" over the credits. They deducted and have been paid every dime. They even debited my bank MORE than the contract. I reached out to them today to ask for resolution or a refund because I have never used their services and they did not "roll" over any credits. On the phone they told me too bad, use it or lose it and in email they wrote this. We do apologize for any confusion. With your membership you are entitled to 5,000 credits every other year. Per your Rules and Regulations credits expire the same year you are allotted the credits unless they are rolled over. Your first allotment of credits were automatically rolled as a courtesy for being a new member. Attached are your Rules and Regulations. In Section 4.5(B) it does go over the credits expiration and Section 4.5(C) goes over how to extend the credits and the maximum shelf life of the credits. BE WARE and BE AWARE IT IS A SCAM< which I would have read these but I will be going through the legals process to get my money back or at least some of it.Jockey Club Resort Properties

I would like to complain. It’s been over a year since my grandfather has passed and I have been helping my grandmother with everything. I’ve contacted jockey club as well as tricom by email and have received no response at all. I need help. They spent I would say approximately over 15k. We have no use for this time share because it’s inconvenient and we have been receiving comps from the casino we go to. Not of word of what Sapphire Resorts said was true. Their website is always broken, which makes it difficult to even see what you don't get. After getting through on the phone, everything requires an activation fee, you have to wait 6 months to book, holidays or any decent time is blacked out. If we could give negative stars we would. As many have already said, this company is all lies , a complete waste of money, and they management team is a complete joke. We have had this timeshare since March 2018 and have not been able to use it even one time due to their restrictions. We also bought it in Vegas and were promised so many things that the company never followed through on. We attempted to sell it but noone wants these. We paid the membership in full and are now paying over $500/year in maintenance fees for something we cannot enjoy or get out of. We have discussed contacting a lawyer to see if there is anything we can do. I just sat on hold with them for an hour only to be disconnected as soon as someone answered. This is the third time it has happened this month alone. Such a huge disappointment that a company can get away with scamming people like this.Jockey Club Resort Properties

Do not go to this timeshare presentation. It is word-for-word like every other, the "gifts" are fake, and you'll be subjected to extremely demeaning pressure tactics from ******** slimeball sales people.
