I financed a car from drive and go Vegas cars it was a 2011 ***** impala they had me put 1500 down. I was told that the car was good. They took my money then on the receipt it showed non Refundable. Then she pulls out a whole list of issues that the car had, hoses cracked, transmission slipping, cracked hoses, this was broke that was broke it was a whole slew of problems I get home and my mother looked over everything and basically I was supposed to pay 440 a month for 5years for a car with problems that needed repairs. I called her the next day and she said basically that I was I was stuck with it. I could either bring the car back and get another with issues cause in her words all there cars have problems or just bring it back and be out of my money that was put down. I brought the car back today but I am out of my deposit and basically paid for nothing.Initial Complaint

4/17/23 - Not sure what role this *** person plays in the business, but he was the first person we met when we came and he said to "wait for the manager" as she was at the store. The manager came and *** still did all the talking so I don't know why we had to wait for the manager. We just wanted our money back from the cash amount we paid towards the car. *** said they're not refunding the cash because the check bounced, which it was rejected because they didn't spell their business name correctly, so we should not be at fault for the check rejecting. We canceled the check and returned the vehicle on the 12th (We returned it better than when it was purchased btw) and we asked for the check back which *** said they didn't have it because it was at the bank and they had already cashed it. We called the bank and they said the check hasn't been cashed a 2nd time yet, so now we know they were lying. We came back on 4/17 to retrieve the CASH amount we paid which was $223, *** said they're not refunding it. He said they have the cash but they're not refunding it and it isn't our business to know what they're doing with MY cash that I PAID for a vehicle I BOUGHT then returned in great condition. Their attitudes and their degrading tones, especially ***'s, should hot be the standard for business. I now request that our cash amount be refunded and I want reimbursement for the maintenance I paid that should have been done considering *** told us nothing was wrong with the car.Initial Complaint

My car was repossessed on 8/29/23. I called and spoke with ***** who informed me that the car was repossessed and the amount I had to pay to get the car back was ********. I informed ***** that my purse was in the car and I had no way to the dealership because they repossessed the car and I had mailed in a 300 dollar money order which she states was not received. I received a letter in the mail dated 8/29/203, post marked 8/30/2023. I received the letter on 8/31/2023. The letter stated I had 10 days to reclaim the vehicle or come in to reclaim my property. I didnt have anymore communication with them until I went to the building on 9/8/2023 to reclaim the vehicle. They then gave me a piece of paper with these numbers I needed to pay to reclaim the vehicle. I said fine, I need to get my purse out the car so I can go get the money. I have ** the key to the car and we walked to the back of the building. He opened the car with the key I gave him and the alarm kept going off. He said let me get the other key. I looked in the car and my purse was completely gone. I went back into the office and informed them that my purse was gone. They stated that one one has been in the car, but you have wiring in the car where the car was rekeyed on 9/1/2023. I called 311 who informed me that I needed to go to the police station to make a report and they couldnt have an officer ******* at that time. My husband then goes through the entire car and the trunk was completely empty. The speakers (2 12inch subwoofers), amps, wiring kit, the bass controller was all missing. I went back to ** and asked for the information for the person that towed the car, the information for the person who rekeyed the car, to the actual owner of the business. They were being very uncooperative with me. I was informed that *** is the owner (they dont know his last name) lives in ***** and only calls 1 time a year to check in the business. Cowboy the person towed the car **********. ***** rekeyed **********Business Response

I went there on the 10th day to reclaim the vehicle so the vehicle should not have been rekeyed when I received a letter saying I have 10 days to reclaim the property or vehicle. I cant upload any information. Like my video at the location the day of. Why would I make up my belongings being gone when I was going to pick up the vehicle.Customer Answer

This information that they gave you is completely false. They forgot to mention that they are closed on Sunday and that following holiday, which was Labor Day. Theres no way I came after 10 days and I have video the day of, plus I received a letter stating I had 10 days. Letter mailed on 8/29, postmarked 8/30. I went to the dealership on 9/8. In the video the locks were changed on 9/1, however ** the general manager stated that the locks were actually changed on 8/31, but they payed the unlicensed lock ***** on 9/1.Initial Complaint

Seller sold me my 2011 Cadillac Escalade without a smog and safety inspection. The sell is illegal and now they will not give me the $1500 deposit. They also falsified my documents to make my debt to income ratio over 50 when its actually 30. This made my APR about 19%. The person who sold me the car was not the person who signed my documents. And there are a lot of things wrong with the car that I was not aware of prior to taking it from the lot. And the car has not been smogged since 2-25-2020 which was at a *********** Inspection Station. The Obd2 port has been removed so it cant even be read for check engine light. My worries now are that it will not pass the smog test and Ill be stuck with footing the bill on bringing it up to code. The owner says we can go 50/50. But I dont think thats fair since it should have had a safety check before I purchased the vehicle.Initial Complaint

Ok I purchased a vehicle from the dealership in the amount of $1000.00 down on the car it was a 2013 ******* Elantra silver when I got the car it had already came with problems which I didnt get told about the situations until after purchase it needed a wheel alignment done the two front tires had two be replaced because it was shaking so much then it started loosing power in the car because of the traction sensor neede to be fixed with a whole lots of other codes that came up when a diagnostic was done on the car by auto zone and pep boys! I purchased the vehicle at the end of the August and had lost my second job and was not ******** pay the full amount but I kept on paying what ever I had so the second payment came out and I only owed at that time $710.00 by that time on the day the car payment was due I had to pay $710.00 that Wednesday the 10-9-2022 the loan for the car had already been requested back from the dealership and the car repo by the dealership and they never said anything about it so now I dont know where the car is I would like my items out of the vehicle. I was threatened by the owner stating he was taking my money and car from me and I was talked to real nasty and ignored by the dealer he got over on me and took my obey and belongings as well I want my items back! What he has done is illegal and wrong you dont do business like that with people?
