I booked a room in the Virgin River Hotel (what is actually a Motel I found when I arrived). I went to dinner in the casino and spent a few dollars in the machines after checking in. After dinner I went to the (motel) room and found stains on the sheets (blood), pillowcases and blankets. A full footprint on the bottom of one pillow. Urine on the toilet rim. With many families around us, all having very young children making noise, we decided to just check out ajd request a refund. We were told by the front desk staff that the manager in the morning would have to approve our refund. We didn't have any issue with that. Now, I am being charged for the room and am being told that I will not he getting a refund for a room that was falsely advertised, dirty, loud and unused.

I had an issue yesterday with security 4/5/24. I drove down from Utah specifically for the seafood buffet that opened at 3pm. We decided to gamble to pass by the time, in the meantime my fiance ordered a couple drinks. We were gambling right outside of the buffet when he seen the cocktail waitress going around the corner, he raised his hand and said "I got the AMF "he was very kind and just genuinely thought she had not seen him. Then she started going off on him, she unprofessionally started telling at him. He apologized and at that point was really upset about being treated that way so he said" go ahead and keep the drink" she walks away when I noticed the security guard that was working on a machine near us that had heard what happened, he walked away and brought back 6 security guards to escort my finace out. As this was happening I went to the head of security personally to explain what had happened and what exactly was going on. He said he'd talk to the other security guards and come find us. So as we waited in front of the casino he finally comes out and tells us "we had a misunderstanding and was told you put hands on the cocktail waitress" which was obviously not true at all, due to him admitting it was their fault and misunderstanding. I asked if we could go in and eat at the buffet since thats what we were there for in the first place, and he proceeded to tell us no and we had to leave. So it was their mistake but we got punished for it and had to leave over their miscommunication with the guards. How does that happen? Why do they think that is ok? I asked them to pull up footage and point out what we were getting kicked out for, but he denied me every time. Very weird. I'm a buisness owner security officer in utah myself, and this interaction with security just boggles me. Very disappointing for the reputation their putting out for our fellow security officers. I don't know if this was a racial issue or what. But this needs to be addressed with me ASAP.
