I was recommended to *** ******* / ************ Financial through the CFO of my work. It took several calls and emails before I initially reached ***. Once we connected he seemed incapable of properly completing my application, and we had to disconnect while he figured out his system. That seemed curious, but technology happens. I had been traveling and had an early and busy day the next day, so we agreed to connect on Friday. (I will say he did say A.M., but I didn't put much stock into the time as Friday was still considered a business day.)Friday morning was busy for me, as expected. I didn't get a chance to call until 12:40 PM and left a message. A week went by and I texted him, stating I never heard anything about my loan inquiry. His responses were unprofessional, accusatory, and rude, and he took no responsibility. Friday, April 4 from ***: "Last Friday AM you were to call me, that was the window available before I went on vacation. I am in ******* for spring break with the family." ----Okay, I didn't know he was going on vacation. That was never expressed to me. I responded with a screenshot showing I did call and that he failed to return my call. His response: "You didn't call me in the morning like you said you would, it was 12:40pm EST. I was done and on vacation at noon. That's on you. Don't try and flip it, that's not going to work for you." What a shocking response. I had no idea he was leaving for vacation. But what I don't understand is why he couldn't have followed up with me. Also, I understand things happen, and a polite message explaining the disconnect would've gone a lot farther. This is how the owner talks to and treats potential clients, I can't imagine how much worse it could get doing business with him. I don't trust this company. Sadly, he seems indicative, and I don't trust my personal information with him. It's too late for me, but do yourself a favor and find another loan source.FreedomRoad Financial

Vicious business ethics. Fall behind a few days, you will regret it. Couple hundred dollars in fees and add on late penalties daily. Loan sharks are easier to deal with.FreedomRoad Financial

Never Use Them. It's an operation run out of a single wide trailer. ******** customer service, billing errors, no supervisor is ever available. Girls that answer the phone are like taking to a high school dropout. They read from a card and are zero help. Payment errors on their end are notified a month later or by mail, online payments are cumbersome, I wouldn't trust them with personal info. I'm paying this loan off **** after experiencing had badly they perform. They shouldn't even be licensed as a financial institution.FreedomRoad Financial

When a payment is returned to us, the reversal will show up on your next monthly statement. Your statement will detail the reversal of the payment and the amount due. Laughable how this company replied to a bad review in 2 days, yet a payment error (on their end) took 3 weeks to notify me (by phone) no immediate text or email. I've never had a payment issue with any company yet this company is quick to blame customers for their own failings. **************** is atrocious (lower bid than overseas), no manager is ever available, they hang up if you ask questions (trying to sort out their error)). I paid off this account immediately once I realized how horrible they are. Read ****** reviews for other's experiences. Mine is not an isolated incident. Used them once out of convenience (rather than my credit union) as I was buy a bike on the weekend, spur of the moment. ****** learned and I won't ever use them again.Review fromDana and Susan p

HORRIBLE BUSINESS. Will NOT refund the overpayment when we paid off our cycle, They emailed and said the refund payment was mailed on Oct 15, 2024. The loan was paid off in full the end of Sept 2024. I have asked for my refund, ****** and they keep telling me it is "in the mail". I was never late with a payment and never missed a payment. Had them finance two motorcycles and this is what I get.....screwed over by this company. Absolutely HORRIBLEFreedomRoad Financial

I had set up automatic payments through the freedomroad financial web portal in 2022. This was working great until last month Sep 2024 when the automatic payments stopped for no reason. I received an email this month with a notice of my account being past due. When logging into the webportal, my password was no longer working. The link to reset my password never sent me an email to change my password so I decided to call the customer service number. The customer service *** that took my call was quite rude for no reason, and I kept hearing children crying in the background. It felt very unprofessional. Upon explaining my situation and asking why I was never notified why the automatic payments stopped, I was told that there was an older version of the website and that the new version needed a new auto payment set up but when I asked why I was not notified of the changes, I was told to just make the new payment and move on.I was able to log in to my account and noticed a late charge assessed added to the account. I called customer service again to ask about how and why my automatic payments were stopped and why I deserved to be charged a late fee for a situation that was of no fault of my own. The *** that I talked to was a different person but was also unprofessional and short tempered as I was quickly told that the late fee was going to be removed, that it wouldn't affect my credit, and that I didn't need to know anything further than that.I am very much displeased by the lack of professionalism over the phone and the lack of information through the payment and notification system. Something needs to be done to address and improve both areas before I can recommend this business to anyone.FreedomRoad Financial

I would like to state that after listening to your calls with our customer service representatives they were incorrect when stating that you did not have recurring payments setup. It appears that recurring payments were setup for 24 months, ending on 08/15/2024. FreedomRoad Financial does not notify a customer when their recurring payments end, I will put this in as a suggested upgrade to our online banking team. Im happy to see that you have been able to update your recurring payments, and the late charge assessed has been reversed. I wish there was a way to leave less than one star. The worst customer service experience I've ever had. I paid a loan in full, received a lien release then was sent a bill a month later. Communication was nearly impossible and after months of dispute the account was sent to collections. No one could give me a definitive answer as to why they though I owed more money, nor any documentation that added up to what they claimed I owed. I had thought the issue was settled until I received a notice about my credit score being reduced. After again contacting them the balance was still not settled and this time I was told that I disputed two previous payments, but only for a partial amount for some reason. None of which is true. After going in circles with the representative I gave in and paid almost double the original amount they claimed I still owed just to avoid further damage to my credit score. I would avoid doing business with them at all costs.FreedomRoad Financial

The amount remaining was principal, interest, and fees. We received 2 payments shortly after that, but these were both returned for their full amounts, leaving a balance due of principal $185.29, interest *****, and fees of $31.05. FreedomRoad Financial works with dealers nationwide, dealers submit applications to us. **************** submitted your application to ** on 01/11/2024 the reason for the inquire on your credit report. FreedomRoad Financials Dealer Agreement states dealers agrees to conduct all transactions related to the terms of the Agreement, in accordance with all applicable laws. **************** should not have submitted an application to us with out your consent. FreedomRoad Financial will be removing the inquiry on your credit report. We were able to locate two instances where you called our main phoneline. I was told I was set up on the automatic payment plan last month in May when I last called to make my payment, but I still made the payment early just like every other month that I have paid. This month I wasn't able to make any phone calls so I wasn't able to call to make sure they were going to pull it out automatically. (Shouldn't have to). Now I'm trying to call and contact them during their business hours and I can't get ahold of nobody to see why my payment hasn't been paid. This is very stressful and I hope I don't have to get a lawyer involved. Not only is this mistake you guys have made going to affect my credit dramatically but it's going to hit my grandfather's as well, thx!FreedomRoad Financial

The due date on your account is the 18th day of the month, and all your payments have been made on time. Although we are not able to accept a debit card for recurring payments, there are many options detailed on our website *********************************************************************. If you sign into our online banking application, you can set up text messages, check your balance, and payment status. It is a very useful tool to manage your account! I consistently receive NSF fees and late charges when my account is fully funded. **************** continues to blame my bank but after contacting my bank they had no holds on my account and were able to verify full funding of the account. Their system has always had problems and their customer service reps were unhelpful and rude.
