I have been receiving fraudulent attempts to collect a duplicate copayment from this billing company for services rendered at my physical therapists office on August 14, 2024. I have confirmed numerous times with the PT office that this charge does not exist and I have been in contact with Watland multiple times and the PT office has called them too. The last communication I received from the PT office was on 10/23/2024 saying that all was resolved. This morning 11/5/2024 I received yet again a text message kill from Watland. I have called them again today and was told “Wendy” would call me back. The text today is threatening stating this is my fifth notice. This morning he is not owed and this is insurance fraud.

My wife went to two visits at Align Physical Therapy in November 2023. She paid $25 for each visit. Since that time we have received monthly billing notices from their billing service (Watland Billing Consultants) saying we owe $25. On several occasions we have tried to phone Watland at the phone number provided on the billing statement and have always been put through to a voice message system. We tried calling on 4/19/24, 5/10/24, 6/13/24 and 6/17/24. We left messages each time but continue to receive billing statements. We also contacted Align Physical Therapy and confirmed with them that we do owe them anything and that our account has been paid in full. The person we talked to at Align Physical Therapy told us that they are having trouble with Watland and have been unable to get them to stop sending us billing statements. We would like help in getting Watland to stop sending us billing statements.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention  I reviewed the account and our manager called the patient yesterday. Previous calls were going to an invalid extension number. Our manager was able to locate the payment made in November and post to the account, This issue has been resolved on our end.

      Thank you,

      ***** Watland
