  I applied for a rental and never heard a word from them. I called a few times and they told me to email a Lexi. After paying the application fee I realized they never even ran my credit. Scam alert started ringing in my head. It’s 60 dollars I lost, but karma will get them in the end.

  The owner and their entire teams goal is to ignore maintenance and fake invoices to take as much as they can from your deposit. They were aware the oven wasnt working but didnt tell me before I move in. I put in work order, email, calling them to replace the oven. Nothing. After a month, after countless calling, they send three different people just to measure! I wonder how are they billing the owner of the house. After two month, we inform them we will not pay rent until the oven is replaced or fixed. Their very professional accountant ***** cited part of our contract that we need to pay rent unless the issue is not being resolved within 30 days. I laughed. It is been more than 60 days. After that the *********************** finally show up with a tiny oven just to get our rent payment. The oven didnt get installed after 3 month we moved in. They also try their best to collet late fee, our check was a day late cause I wasnt pay attention to the holiday. They want $175 late fee. Even took them 90 days to replace the oven. See how they works. Last, definitely not the least ! They fake invoice from a closed cleaning company Zephry-clean. Pretend they hired them for cleaning and install random things, and trying to take that amount out of your deposit. Zephyr-clean were out of business since ****. Now is 2022. We left the house perfect condition, only lived for a year for temporary. They want to charge me $300 for painting. And $300 to install blind. The blind was missing when I moved in! The whole thing is made up. I know they are faking invoice to charge to the owner of the house as well. So they can doubled up in their pocket. They are not even paying tax on it. Luckily I recorded everything when I moved in and out. I was actually expecting these behavior based on my past experiences with them. So I call them out told me refund my deposit full. They did refund it in 3 days. Do yourself a favor dont contract with them.

  Terrible management thank you to ***** and and ***** this company has no regard for anything at all costs avoid this company! They charge for things they dismiss to fix once lease is up, constant miss communication between the two employees, do yourself a favor AVOID THEM YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF LATER

  There is a reason Shoenberger & Shoenberger are not members of the Better Business Bureau. In November of 2019 I rented an apartment from this **************************** In January ******************************************************************************************* the unit. The apartment's plumbing was at the end of a six-plex 2-story line. When the plumbing failed, raw sewage from 5 apartments backed up into my ground floor unit. For more than six weeks I was forced to clean up waste and ***** matter any time any of the other 5 units flushed their toilet or used their washer. Despite multiple requests and demands for relief, Shoenberger absolutely refused to address the problem. The matter was eventually resolved by the property condo association long after I'd been forced to vacate due to Shoenberger's inability to provide a dwelling with legally required access to sanitation. Then there was the electrical problems in the living room, the broken disposal, the dishwasher and the storage room on the patio I couldn't use because Shoenberger refused to provide a key. TWENTY-EIGHT months (2 1/2 years) after my last communication with Shoenberger I was alerted by my credit monitoring company Shoenberger had negatively impacted my credit score with a bogus attempt to collect a bad faith (if not fraudulent) debt. I wish I'd done my homework. I wish I had reviewed this company. It is companies like Shoenberger & Shoenberger who give Relators and Property Managers a bad name.
