            I signed a contract in Aug 2022 for Reno Solar to put solar panels on my roof and a backup battery system of 10kWs. In a few days it will be 14 months and the system still has not passed inspection. The cost of the system was over 36,000. This was all paid. The work done has failed inspections 7 times. The last failure was 3 weeks ago when the NV Energy inspector said that a shut off for the batteries was in the wrong place ( a fence between the main panel and the shutoff). The representative from NV Energy said that the electrician had not read the NV Energy flier for placement of shutoff from battery packs. For the last 4 months Reno Solar has been paying the electrical portion of my NV Energy bill. I have contacted Reno Solar 2 times in the last 3 weeks with no schedule set for solving this latest problem. At this time I have no confidence that this project will ever be done, so I am contacting you for help.

            Reno Solar are by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. I bought our system from them and turned it on November 2022 and have had to deal with system outages all year long. I missed generating energy this Summer and the entire time Reno Solar refused to send technicians out to help. I managed to get technicians out here only twice this year and they'd spend about an hour each time, tweak something, and then hope that would keep the system running. I kept pointing out that the system was not generating energy consistently and the customer support representative would just insist on showing a single day that we produced energy and say it's working fine. They'd then point out how very busy their technicians are and that they'd eventually get someone to swing by. As soon as they got their money last year they were done with us and off to do more installs. Stay as far from Reno Solar as possible please!
