Yes I bought a car from CarZone that was a repossession back in 2021. I paid $900 for the car. And sent them a money order issued from my bank. I spoke to a female name Alexis who handled the transaction. They were supposed to send the title to me after they received the payment. And they never did. I contacted him and talk to a gentleman named Jose. He said that they would be able to get me the title but now I was going to cost me $300 to have them file it. I contacted the DMV to see if this car had a repo title. And they told me that the car had never been registered in Nevada. They Also said I shouldn't have to pay the $300 because I've already paid for the vehicle. And it only cost them $28 to file it. Carzone also has to sign off as the lien holder. They said if they don't release the title to me to file a complaint.Initial Complaint

Car zone knowingly sold us a car with a known fatal problem. On our signed paperwork we specifically requested that the EcoBoost system repair be made prior to us being given the vehicle. Car Zone agreed and then kept the car for a month, with our first car payment paying due before we even had the car in our possession. Upon retrieving the car a month later, Car zone claimed that the repairs had been made. Unfortunately they lied to us. The eco-boost system failed. It had never been repaired and ended up causing catastrophic damage to the engine of the car. The car now has over $12,000 in damage. Car Zone refuses to return our calls and negated our contract by not making the required repairs that were part of our paperwork. We would like them to retake possession of the car and the loan on this vehicle to be closed. We have already contacted the finance company rejecting this car under the consumer rights protection act.Initial Complaint

I found a car that I was interested in and decided that I wanted it. The dealership did not offer financing for 2004 and older, so we agreed that I’d leave a deposit of $4000 with them and the vehicle until I got the remainder of the money through financing. My loan fell through, and I told the salesman that and he said that they cannot give me my money back. I never drove the car off the lot, and I never took possession of the vehicle. We called the supervisor and he said that I need to pay for the car ($14k remainder) and then hung up on us.Initial Complaint

I PURCHASED A JEEP FROM CARZONE TWO WEEKS AGO, IT WAS A LEMON.. THE MINUTE I DROVE IT HOME IT STARTED OVERHEATING. I HAD PAID $4,500 IN CASH DOWN AND THE REST OF THE PRICE OF THE JEEP WAS FINANCED. I TRIED TO GET AHOLD OF CARZONE FOR 3 DAYS ABOUT THE ISSUE AND WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD RETURN MY CALL WHICH NO ONE DID. FINALLY ON THE 7TH DAY OF ME HAVING THE OVERHEATING JEEP- CARZONE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT INTO THEIR SHOP THERE AT THE DEALERSHIP (WHICH I DID). THEY GAVE ME A CHEAPER VEHICLE TO DRIVE THAT SAID "LOANER" ON IT WHILE MY JEEP WAS BEING FIXED IN THE SHOP. I GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT IN THE LOANER CAR- WHICH MY INSURANCE IS COVERING. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP-CAR ZONE- AND WAS TOLD MY JEEP WAS READY TO BE PICKED UP. WHEN I WENT IN TO CARZONE TO PICK UP THE JEEP I PAID FOR- I WAS TOLD THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME MY JEEP BACK BECAUSE THEIR LOANER CAR HASNT BEEN RETURNED. I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE ACCIDENT AND NOTIFIED THEM OF MY INSURANCE AND THE LOCATION OF THE WRECKED LOANER AND THEY STILL REFUSED TO RELEASE MY JEEP. FIRST THEY SOLD ME A $20,000 JEEP-(WHICH i PAID $4500 CASH FOR) THAT WAS BROKEN AND OVERHEATING -A LEMON IN THE FIRST PLACE- AND THEN THEY STOLE MY JEEP FROM ME! IVE MADE ALL MY PAYMENTS- iM NOT IN DEFAULT OF ANYTHING. tHEY ARE LITERALLY STEALING MY CAR FROM ME BECAUSE i WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN THEIR LOANER CAR. THEY ALSO BLOCKED ME FROM CALLING THEM SO THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE ME MY CAR.Initial Complaint

7/07/2023 - Purchased 2003 Ford F250 Superduty. VIN ***************** Price- $22531.50 No warranty, except to say that emissions were a legal obligation of the dealer. And I believed this to be true. We received the title on vehicle 7/28/2023 and proceeded to register in California. Registration was pending a passing emissions inspection. On 8/28/2023 during emissions testing, it was discovered that the Catalytic Converter had been replaced with a Federal Emissions Standard Catalytic Converter.... the vehicle label states California Emissions Vehicle and therefore requires a CARB Standard Catalytic Converter and therefore failed inspections. Contacting Carzone has been a dead end.... to the point that I can't even get them to answer the phone. So this leaves me with little choice, other than to replace the Catalytic Converter and complete the registration process. It looks to be that the cost to me for the replacement Catalytic Converter is Approximately $720.00 dollars. In addition I will have to seek compensation from Carzone with a demand letter, which at this point seems likely that I will have to file in Nevada Small Claims Court. **** ***** *** ****** ** Vacaville CA 95688 ###-###-#### *****************Initial Complaint

I went in to buy a vehicle at CarZone, when I was in the process I was told they did a full safety inspection and made sure the vehicle was drivable. When I took it for a test drive it was a rough ride then I noticed lowering springs so I assumed that’s all it was along with a terrible alignment (in which they said the vehicle is aligned. But the steering wheel is completely sideways and pulls) Also power steering was making a lot of noise they said they refilled the fluid and flushed the system so it may have air still. So I thought okay not bad I can do this well power steering pump was bad. And come to find out the struts we’re all blown had to spend $1,300 of new suspension a week after having the car, had to get new tires cause their lot is dirty and I seen nails in 3 of the 4 tires. $500 later. Had to get all new control arms front and back cause they were bent and the bushing were blown. $350. About 10 days after having the car putting maybe 100 miles on it (I work 2 miles down the road and don’t go out much) the car quit working . Well the clutch went out and had to spend $3,500 to get it replaced. The car was dusty when I bought so two days later I cleaned it noticed their retailers messed the paint up by trying to polish it and it has orange peel all over the vehicle. $22,000 car and it looks terrible they didnt clean it so you didn’t see it. Yes some fault on me. But I tried reaching out to them they ignored my calls blew me off and dodged me as much as possible I emailed them them texted the salesman and left reviews and they deleted 3 of my reviews on Google.
