    I had an eyelash service done on April 5th 2024 , I wasn’t happy with the service I had asked for a refund she didn’t refund me . I then did a dispute through my bank and it got declined . My problem with her and her business is that she got paid and she blasted me on social media as a scammer and that I said she was fraud when I never even got my money back . This has hurt my business and my character as people don’t want to come to me or book me . She lied about not being paid and I have all the receipts

    This is in reply to your request for response to a complaint filed against my business, Beloved Beauty, with the Better Business Bureau. While I am not a member of the Better Business Bureau, I am voluntarily submitting this reply. 

    The complainant is an esthetician and a business competitor who came to my salon for eyelash services on April 5, 2024. Prior to performing the services, the complainant read and electronically signed  a Release of Liability form. The form specifically states at paragraph 10 that “Beloved Beauty does not offer refunds for any reasons”. Moreover, the document provides that it is “legal and binding”. It is, of course, one thing for a customer to come in and claim ignorance about a release of liability form and quite another for an individual in the same line of business to claim equal ignorance especially when considering that the use of such form is encouraged by Cosmetology schools in Nevada. Complainant was offered an appointment to fix the problem she was concerned with at no charge to which she declined.

    This is in reply to the Complainant’s response which is, for lack of a better description, unintelligible. Complainant states that she rejects my answer to her complaint. She does not contend that she is a business competitor or that she signed a statement providing very clearly that no refunds will be issued. Rather, she contends that despite the policy statement that she signed, that I did offer to refund her money. This is only a part of the story. Complainant fails to indicate that she filed a complaint with Wells Fargo indicating that she was defrauded and, similarly, she filed a complaint with Zelle indicating the same. The offer to refund her payment was conditioned upon her agreement to rescind both complaints. She failed to do so and, as a result, the offer to Complainant was never accepted. That said, there is nothing more that can be done with respect to this matter, and no further action in that regard will be taken.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Yes I did submit a claim to my bank for the Zelle I sent her since she refused to give a refund I took it up with my bank and as you can see Bank of America denied the claim . I never reported her as fraud as you can see it says Zelle department . After she told me her account got locked I called Bank of America right away and they lifted the claim on there end as well . She still after all of that told me when her account was back up she would refund me and since then. She has not
