In April 2022 i received a quote for concrete work with Elite Concrete AKA Premium lawn and landscapes. i signed a contract in May, put down a deposit of around $5500. I was told the job would be started end of august beginning of September. That came and went with no contact. I reached out to the owner Frank, who said it would be about a month. 5 weeks has now passed and i haven't heard anything from the company. I have called several times this last week and have had no response.Business response

The landscape design was finalized and signed on 1/30/2022.$15,000 deposit was placed 1/31/2022.Owners Association approved 4/20/2022.1st ask to begin work 4/20/2022., was told "he'll get back to me.Was told "he's shooting for mid-June to begin work" 5/10/2022.Was told "he'll start in 2-3 weeks" 6/14/2022.Was told "superintendent will be in touch to start" 7/13/2022.No reply 7/28/2022.Business response

We are just waiting for a crew to finish their current project and commence work on yours. I apologize but we are moving as fast as we can. Still we still delays in materials, delays on other projects. Engineering gets pushed back, commercial and residential jobs get pushed back and our schedule gets pushed back.Initial Complaint

Initial meet and greet occurred on/around October 2021 and communication was excellent. On 11/23/21 contract and deposit (1/3 of total bill - $23,000) was given to the contractor. Since we were hitting winter time, things were quiet until around Jan 2022 when I began to inquire about drawings, etc. Provided the landscaper our request and requirements for the job. Drawing #1 was incorrect and back to drawing board. Drawing #2 again incorrect-back to the drawing board. Drawing #3 I was frustrated so we agreed on it and which point I thought permitting was next in line to start work in April 2022 which was the timeframe we discuss, however many excuses. I submitted my drawing and request to our HOA early/mid April and received the approval within 7-10 days and submitted to Frank T*****. Again many excuses and arguments. Late April/May 2022- I requested numerous times for a cost breakdown, what has been spent from the deposit provided and also asked for a timeline. None was provided. I also requested to cancel as I became frustrated and my trust in this man (who is also a law officer) was gone. I began to contact the engineer to get status and also Washoe County for the permit status. Finally on June 10th, an email from the permit department arrived. I sent an email to Frank and his office girls to obtain an update and see what they would tell me and again the run around, so that is when I informed them that I received notification and all they need was a payment. On June 16th Frank T***** sent me an email stating that he will get an install date and possibly start the following week. We are now on the following week and I have not heard from him yet. I've requested to meet with the foreman to get the schedule but no response. I feel cheated and ripped off and frustrated. Only reason why we picked this contractor was the results from my neighbor. We are new to Sparks Nevada and need help.Business response

We are moving as fast as we possibly can. We just got the permit to commence work last week. We are in the process of scheduling as fast as we possibly can.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:The business did contact me to schedule an appointment with the job foreman which I accepted and took time off to meet with him and I was under the impression that the meeting was also to discuss when the work would. When I contact Frank the morning to confirm the appointment, i was not aware that he has scheduled for the crew to show up at our home on Friday 7/1 and 7/2 to begin work. That would've great if we were in town but we've had plans with the family This was always the problem with Frank. Either he does not update us or communicate any plans he has scheduled.
Anyway, our meeting for 6/24/2022 was cancelled as he indicated the drawing and mapping would not stay on the ground while we were away and have rescheduled for Monday, 7/11/2022 when were return and possibly start work that week.
My complaint will remain active until we all work has been completed and approved as I fear once I release this complaint, Frank and his crew will disappear and will not get done. Thank you

Requested concrete work from Premium Lawn and Landscape in June of 2021. Signed a contract with them on June 6th and paid a 50% deposit for the job. Since then they have failed to get us on the schedule for the work and very rarely answer the phone. We told them this month (December 2021) that we wish to cancel the work. They said they will keep the deposit if we cancel. After reviewing the contract they are not entitle to any of the deposit.Business response

We have scheduled this work to take place and the customer has been informed. The terms and conditions of our contract are pretty clear. The work is scheduled to proceed as planned and the work agreed upon and deposited placed.
