I purchased two batteries for my truck. The employee was not able to install one of them because he did not have the correct tool. No big deal. I took it home and installed it myself in less than two minutes. When I connected the battery it started to smoke. I immediately unhooked it and returned to the store where the same aforementioned employee refused to honor the warrantee. He said there is no way that can happen unless I hooked it up backwards. I reminded him that just an hour earlier he saw the truck and cables, there is no way the cables can physically reach the incorrect terminals. He agreed but still refused to warranty the obviously defective battery. I contacted Customer Service who first sent me to the District Manager who also refused to honor the warranty. I then went back to Customer Service and asked to speak with the Regional Manager, but she sent me back to the District Manager. After that I emailed Customer Service back and explained that she had sent me back to the same person. She replied she would put me in contact with the District manager and I went 3 weeks without hearing from anyone. I contacted Customer Service again and asked what was going on. The reply was that the District Manager had been seeing the emails but I still haven't heard anything. I just want my money back. The store employee is incompetent, the Customer Service Supervisor is incompetent and I have had nothing but a terrible experience with this company after being a loyal customer for years. All I want is my money back for the battery. I have all of the correspondence saved in an email.
